Lack of 3pt shooting cost him there.

The Bucks are reminiscent of the early/mid 90s Spurs, a transcendent big in the middle (who is not built for playoff ball) with a flawed team around him headed by a average/below average coach.

The Greek Freak is nothing but a poor man's David Robinson. Ultra quick for a big, GF's got better ball handling, the Robinson was the better scorer and far better defender. Both of them need a large amount of space to operate for an inside player, so it is tough to space the floor our for them (help defense can recover on the other perimeter players much easier given those two really start their offensive moves from about 15-20 feet out) The rest of the team are a poor fit for their talents, lack any quick three point shooters, average defenders, no inside dirty work players.

Difference of course, is that Robinson managed to drag those horrible teams to 50+ wins year after year, and sometimes go past the first, or even second round, GF is no where close to that.
