Carmela still in the league?
Dude is more washed up than Manure Ginose
Agree. He was the best option available for that number. If healthy, it's a huge add. Only Lee is really a loss but hopefully those minutes can be filled.

And that guy is still our 6th man. Sad!![]()
Sounds like the worst porn name ever.![]()
Whoah! I'm less than thrilled with the Spurs' offseason activity but who gives a about Melo going to OKC? Seriously. Its Westbrook and George and a distant 3rd is Melo. He's not what he once was. Yawn. Would've liked him in SA for vets minimum had he been bought out. Other than that? Pass.
This smells of desperation by Presti to keep Westbrook from leaving. He still hasn't signed an extension.
We are definitely not going to agree which is fine. I think Melo is garbage and is overrated. He will continue to shoot ty percentages even in OKC. Adams will also be tired by the start of the fourth since he's the only big OKC has now. Also about the Grizz series its definitely over in 5 games if Fizzdale doesn't about the refs. Playing the what if card with Parker is pretty laughable. You can play that card with so many different series through out NBA history by saying if blah blah didn't show up the series would have been different. Spurs were the better team they were going to win that series regardless.
Because it's yet another team that has leapfrogged SA while Kawhi's prime continues to go to waste, Drunkford re-signs old men and gives one-dimensional, no defense playing chokers 50 million dollars.
OKC was a tough match-up last year with one man and no bench. Now they're greatly improved. SA on the other hand has gotten worse. The Spurs better hope they don't find themselves in a playoff series with OKC next season.
Adams is tired by the 4th? It's okay. We've got our own center to beat him out by getting tired in the 3rd.![]()
Weak comeback.
There was no one i would trade to match the salary to get melo. He was 2 years ago news.
I'm just responding to the OKC vs. SA debate as that's what matters here.
You're fooling yourself if you believe Adams won't be a handful even on his own when he always has been for the Spurs. It also doesn't help that now there are three legitimate threats on OKC while we continue to have only one. Doesn't look good for SA in an OKC match-up, imo.

They'll be having passive aggressive twitter fights inter-squad before the AS break.
Nice, 3 "update your account" images. That'll teach them.
Never been an Anthony fan, but this is the ideal role. He'll rain fire as a (mostly) catch and shoot stretch PF and Adams, George and Roberson, can cover up at least a portion of his defensive inep ude. Sure, backup C is now a hole, but they can sign some minimal veteran like Hawes or take a flier on someone younger like Tavares (once Cavaliers inevitably waive him) to eat regular season minutes and it's all about Warriors and to a lesser extent Rockets anyway. Kanter couldn't really play against them, so even though they'll lack defensive rebounding, they'll be better off with a Patterson-Grant backup front line.
Balance will always matter, but in a league that now skews more towards offense, in all likelihood, they'd have 3 of 4 best offensive players in a series vs Spurs. Warriors, Rockets and Timberwolves would definitely have 2 of top 3. Worse yet, Leonard will have to guard a primary offensive option all game and they all have multiple wing defenders to throw at him on the other end.
Who's them? Works fine on a PC but, it will be a cold day in before I dish out $399 a year to photobucket just for the right to embed a few links.
So they got garbage for garbage then?
Would you rather have Melo or Patty + Pau spurtfan?
Lol garbage. If Melo is garbage, then the spurs are a bonafide dumpster fire
truth bomb
A 33 year old who has been throwing up completely meaningless stats for years now, who is the league's biggest ball stopper and is a complete failure on the other end who the Knicks have been desperate to lose for several seasons?
You're supposed to get complementary players for Westbrook, not a team wrecker.
Because Melo was playing with the MVP and another top 10 player with the Knicks ...
