No, they are not. They are just missing a top 3 player in the World.
I can't see Kawhi turning a team that looks like a bottom 5 unit in the league into anything close to a contender. That's asumming he even does return.

I wouldn't mind seeing Davis play some minutes tbh... he has fallen off completely.
Need a spark. Really missing Joff and what he brought to the table. Funny stat but we 4-0 with Joff and 0-4 without him... lol

Anyhow, Danny is streaky, Patty is streaky. We need our shooters to hit shots. It takes young buck Forbes to come in and give a spark.

Thats a good stat. I would start lauvergne and bring pau off bench. Pau bertans manu gay mills. Run it through pau. Make him only a passer from high post. Bench him any time he shoots or doesnt make contact on a pick. It solves your mills problem..

Kawhi will make the team much better - just not good enough to be a serious contender. Only some serious improvement/development by the supporting cast and/or a trade can elevate the team that much.

Yep. This antiquated offense will only get us so far. It can't keep up with GS.

Your spot up shooters are being asked to penetrate. Thats our issue.

Just because my team loses doesn't mean I stop supporting them, otherwise I'd of given up on my other fandoms long ago.

You dont even know the offense. Its players who dont have skills trying to be an effective option. Mills and green are spot up off ball players being asked to attack and shoot off the dribble. There are 2.players doing what they normally do pau and lma. Needless to say they probably have the best stats

Why do PATFO slurpers always question other's fandom anytime someone has a contrary opinion? It's always the first card they pull.

Almost everyone in and around the league agree the offense can't keep up the pace with GS healthy or not. A 1-2 punch with Kawhi and LMA centered around long two's and post ups isn't going to get it done. Especially when the shooters you do have are one dimensional and inconsistent. Try paying attention instead of stalking people and maybe you'll figure it out.

Good job talking basketball for once though. You finally did it.

Kyle has to get up to Bowen-level on those corner threes.

They start off well then lose the games against them. Again, they can't keep up. It'll take complete games from everyone to stand a chance with the way the roster is constructed now.

And I've always said Kawhi makes them good enough to be elite regardless. Just not good enough to win it all. I'll love it if I'm wrong though. It's not like I want them to lose.
