Stating what fact that in a city of 1.2 million (1.8 metro) so fat only 13k have bought season tickets.

Thank you for stating the facts.

What the does that prove, nothing.

If no one bought season tickets than you'd have a case.

Damn you are one dumb mother er.

Where the is all of this extra income going to come from to make this happen? No change in the Spurs' gate as well as sellouts for Saints games?
    What extra income?

jesus Christ poser, get off your fixated "San Antonio is poor" trip.

I've provided you with the numbers, over 30,000 making an average of $77,000 a year, another 30,000 making $55,000 a year and those are just two examples of many.

    Quit living in 1990.

Your numbers are bull you little JuCo reject. San Antonio is not a large market today. That's painfully obvious for those who look for credible sources of information, not they recalled reading in an article 3 years ago.

For the dumbass in the audience (aka, Captain Highway)...

Only 13K feel they have the disposable income to s out for the Spurs, a three time world champ with the best player in the game and the league's brightest Spanish speaking star.

Now to that same demographic you're going to add a team with 65K seats to fill.

    Something's got to give.

So because 13k so far have bought season tickets, in your world that means only 13 k can buy them?

My parents have more than enough disposable income, have since I was born, and to date they've bought zero season tickets.

And they're huge Spurs fans (not my mom so much).

Your senseless logic is ing stupid.

  8. #158
Well then you must be a flipping genius and are not flipping burgers down at the local Burger King.

    Yeah right.

    There are your flippin' numbers.

And they don't even tell the whole truth. Seeing how they don't include 4 od the 8 counties that make up the San Antonio MSA.

Care to quote what part of that link actually supports the numbers?

I know, you can't, because it doesn't. However you managed to trip over that link, it's obvious it was by accident because you have no clue what that data covers.

Great, people have disposable income. But the market has obviously reached saturation WRT Spurs season ticket sales.

And again, the whole point for your nappy ass is that there aren't enough people in this town with disposable income predisposed to spending it on sports teams to cover both teams.

  14. #164
So what's the latest topic of discussion over at the NSYNC forum? "Why San Antonio is the Bestest City in All of the World"?

You are one weird ing gimp.

So 30K individuals have a mean income of $70K?

Look out Memphis, here we come!

But I guess $70k seems like a lot to you.

So predictable... you ask for the proof only to spin it like a rubber ducky in the bath.

Do you think the bath water when you're done?

  21. #171
The number that is of greater significance in that link is the estimate that shows that the SA MSA has roughly 700K individuals pulling down 30 grand a year on average.

That's not that impressive. Of course, what really matters is where the SA MSA ranks among all other MSAs.

Once that's posted, then you'd be "owned" yet again.

Is that not like you, you ask for the proof only to spin it like a rubber ducky in the bath.

Do you think the bath water when you're done?

Spin what? 30K people with an average income of 70 grand in a MSA of 1.5+ million people is nothing. That's not enough to pin the hope of 2 major franchises on. , kids with a couple of years out of undergrad are making 70 large a year in this country, if not more.

Again, those numbers aren't telling a full story seeing how they did not include four of the eight counties that make up San Antonio's MSA. 4 counties that combined have a total population of more than 120,000.

  24. #174
Again, these numbers mean nothng unless you compare them with other markets. That's not spin that's reality.

Indy with 873,080 jobs and a $36,110 income.

They seem to be doing jolly with both an NFL and NBA team.

And like I said, that list is excluding thousands of jobs for San Antonio.
