That's a poor argument for opposing gun control and wasn't my point.
My own argument against taking guns...for me personally...is that I want to be able to defend my family in the highly unlikely event I needed to.
But I'm OK trying to do it without a 30 round magazine.

There were two guards on site. The one who was shot was a former Houston police officer.

uh...my guess is that less than 1/2% are 1) smart enough and 2) have the right equipment to build their own guns and ammo. And even a smaller fraction that could make them with high capacity magazines.
