Nah. Dead last in guarding the 3 and we have some brutal defense overall especially with the starting lineup. Pop needs to go back to the drawing board here. We’ll be 5 games out of a playoff spot by end of next week if we don’t get our act together soon.

The line "brutal defense overall" isn't true though. We've flashed top 10 defense in spurts. Maybe Aldridge is just that heavy of an anchor on this team.

We have nobody that can guard the opposing team's best player or second best or third best for that matter. We're a .500 team , no better and no worse. Our best defense is hope and pray the opponent misses shots.

i agree with some of your statement but not all.

we have some solid defenders in Murray, White, and Vassell on the perimeter and Jacob is a solid defender but Murray can be too aggressive and Vassell is still a rookie.

we do suck on defense overall though.

Clarke was easily the best defender going into the draft and even the worst eye for talent on Spurstalk wouldn’t have passed on him for Samanic.
