This guy is done. He might have half a season left in him but his career is essentially over.

Darn. Is it 100% confirmed that he has long covid? I read it was a mystery illness a while ago, so not sure if he's gotten a confirmed diagnosis now. And is there any actual tests for that, or is it just sort of calculated guesses as to what it would be based on tests and symptoms?

No. If he does have long covid, his recovery period could be years, or never.

Supposedly he does. Don’t want any part of that. For once,he’s not actually injured, but his play went off a cliff.

Yea, I have no.idea if he does or not, but I'm sure our medical staff would know if we did a deal.

There is not real diagnosis for "long covid". It is described as someone who had covid, then no longer has covid (as in they no longer show as positive for any covid test ) but continue to have all the symptoms of someone who has covid for a believe around 3 months or longer. It was never discussed exactly what illness Porzingis had, but I wouldn't even want to run the risk of it by signing him.

He was not remotely the same player when he returned. Basically a shadow.

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't really know what it was. Thanks. It doesn't sound good at all. I hope for his sake he doesn't have it and it's something easier to sort out.
