Just gonna be nice to finally see some basketball again. Looking forward to seeing chemistry between guys from last year and want to see Blake show results for what he says he did this summer. Anyone believe he can make that big of a jump to push for starting pg at any point this coming season?

Never hollered never thumped his chest, just gave you everything. 5-1 in finals and beat some really great playoff teams. Hate when people say best PF ever. Yes he was but need to add the top 5 greatest all time
I get the impression they are gonna give Barlow every chance this summer to earn a big club deal.
I expect a lot from Blake. He said he was working out all summer, day and night. So 2-3 workouts per day. Kid definitely put in the work, now let's see if it translates.

summer league isnt always the best place to showcase that since the offenses arent run nearly as well as they are in the big leagues, and guys like him typically require setup to perform. in any event, summer league is a pretty small sample size to look at a guy's shooting %
if he can play at or close to the level he was with us last year, he'd be worth every penny of his contract.
Always hilarious to watch the lack of structure and dumb turnovers in summer league, with the general dominance of old dudes / guys who've played in the league before. Miami looks semi organised, which is a huge accomplishment.
Jovic has looked much better - being strong enough to play 4 makes a lot of sense for him. (Watching Miami like a prospect hunt game, as I think we're possibly a salary dump / third team in a Dame to Miami trade, and we'll try and get something for taking on money).

NEW: Per source, #Spurs rookie Sir’Jabari Rice will not play in the California Classic Summer League (illness). The rookie out of Texas didn’t make the trip and is back in San Antonio recovering. Rice reportedly agreed to a two-way contract w/ the #Spurs on draft night.
