Aw, the bench played pretty well (they were essentially the starting lineup).

It's just the third string guys who sucked.

Nah I like Wesley.. he's a very good defensive player and that speaks a lot to Pop. His handles are much better. I think will see a much improved Wesley this year.

Ehhhhh....Imma need Sochan to focus on the game and not go out there actively trying to be the chippy guy.

I'll give him that he had like a 7-point spurt and some steals, but he has been looking pedestrian and kinda not doing anything out there.

    Preseason jitters.

Didn't get to watch today but heard Bassey had a really bad game.

I'm sure Rockets fans will feed on this high for the next 8 years.

I enjoyed that until the last 5 minutes.. Birch nah let him go.. Sissoco needs to play in Austin.
Birch I'm willing to let play more than a couple of minutes. A lot of his issues seem to be chemistry, which makes sense. I don't know what Sean was looking at -- Sidy is completely unplayable right now. That he has all of his dev points put into flashy passing is basically the least interesting thing about him. I really hope that the Spurs send him to the Toros to learn how to shoot and not try to make him a lead guard like they do with every single prospect for some reason. The lack of fundamentals most of the young guys show is astonishing.

Some here really wanted to keep Reggie Bullock (0-2 shooting, zeroes across the board) over Cedi Osman (9 points, 7 boards, 2 assists, 2 blocks).

I mean he's basically learning how to play point guard. Not an easy thing for a forward to do. He's going to go through some growing pains this year. And it might just not work with him playing point since he can't shoot.

Ummmm……. Sidy needs work but you may be stretching your assessment a bit sport.

His handles will improve and aren't terrible and you're straight up wrong about the BBIQ. Why are ST so stupid about evaluating this guy? Jesus.

Actually, you're right about Sidy. Chinook may be worse than you overall.

It doesn't look like Sochan's handle is capable of pushing the point guard position right now.

I love Cissoko's court vision. But his defense is pretty abysmal and he can't shoot. His energy level is awesome as well. He's definitely a long term project.

    Tre Jones can’t shoot either

so you either play the forward that ran the offense in Baylor, improved the defense and rebounding of the starting five,

Or you stay stuck in 1980’s basketball with a 6’1 point guard who all he can do is pass and keep falling behind the league.

    seems like an easy choice.

And it never will be if you don't give him reps.

Not saying I agree with it, but it is what it is i suppose.

Yes you seem to lately. Enough that I noticed it. Maybe you just have high expectations for him.
