Oh well, at least it wasn't a blow out.
Like on that play that lead to the missed Johnson three (EDIT: Not Keldon's stupid long-three, but he one before that). Victor wasn't open. Yes, there's no one near him, but they are blocking the passing lane. Sean will see like that and think the Spurs are messing up by not giving Wemby the ball. That kind of thinking leads to a degenerate offense where guys make a bunch of high-risk passes completely out of rhythm.
Why does Wemby not ever show off his ability to drive to the rim? Force refs to make foul calls... Everything is an instantaneous jumper... I get part of it is the horrible spacing and lack of an offensive structure... But he isn't a KD level shooter yet to be taking so many jumpers... When things are missing like this, go to the rim

It's hard to complain about individual players doing stupid things in offense when the guy in charge of the system just allows it. It's going to be a long season of this continues.

I honestly don’t think his driving would be effective. He’s so tall that the ball has a long way to go down and come up. Easy to strip him. But he definitely needs to find a way to score inside rather than shooting those.
