They've been counting on Joe to stay the course and scare the out of his voter base. Now that Harris is up and going, they cannot control Trump, he's in autopilot and we know how that goes. Give that fat bas a mic and he freestyles for like 2 hours, bound to create plenty media fodder. The MAGA handlers don't know how to corral that, they cannot even begin to mount an assault.

They were all set for Biden then Biden dipped and here we are. Trump is becoming unglued and his idiot VP selection isn’t helping matters any. When Trump is losing he becomes unhinged and there is really nothing his handlers and the GOP can really do about it except try and play damage control and deflect anytime he does or says something stupid like he did yesterday. He’s giving her the election all by himself because he can’t shut up like usual

Idk. I think Trump coming unglued not staying on message is further helping her out.
