They say he has legit interest in Texas, and should be making an unofficial visit to Austin in the spring.

He is friends with QB KJ Lacey and they've played 7-on-7 together, plus he chats with QB Dia Bell "frequently."

My own read on it is he possibly tried to commit and the staff told him to slow down.

If the staff likes him at corner, he isn't above Bishop, Jr./Lott and maybe even King.
