The only thing really active on ST is the political forum. If you want actual Spurs talk then head over to BB. Good discussions are taking place there without waiting for the site to load. Game threads are actually back and very active. Once regular season starts, then activity will really pick up.

Have I missed anything with regards to the folks who run Spurstalk coming out and saying anything about what happened in the past few months? LJ posting game grades for Game 1 and not acknowledging in any way that things are a tad strange right now just feels so odd to me.

There's a thread from 2016 saying that they were stepping away. Kori made an account on BB to say that they haven't been running the site for awhile. timvp grades seem to be AI generated. Before, he'd at least link the grades in the forum, but now timGPT doesn't do that. This DC23 guy pops up once a few months to promise an update, but then nothing ever happens.
This site has been ty those few years.

Or you could stay here where there is zero basketball discussion. That's fine too.

All forums are more dead than alive these days. It has changed about 10 years ago when when you could have at least decent conversation. Now bunch of off topic stupid posts. ppl are trying to be as stupid as possible just to get recognition.
So this board will have more ppl here and I am here to check sometimes if anything new come up. Not reading much. Not posting much.
BaselineBums is basically the active ST user base for the last few years that found the site unusable and their offers of help fell on deaf ears, plus many who left before that because they were fed up with the raging lunatics and others who were unable to join because register was closed. Now BB is more active than ST had been in quite a while and saying you're staying here because you're selective about basketball takes is either gaslighting or dimwitted, when just about everyone who gives a damn about basketball left. Fitting that the only people making comments along these lines have been basically MIA for the last few years.

IMO ppl will be back on spurstalk. So I am staying. Also I was here from the beginning ...
