Pistons put their starters back in to finish the half, and kill us.
Spurs were good against the Pistons second team.
Not quite seeing that. Chauncey Billups had about four stupid moves in a row that led to low-percentage shots or turnovers that let you back in.

Prince run the point better than he did for most of the night.

    Spurs getting outrebounded 29-14!!!!!
As usual, this happens every single ing game vs Pistons.

Wait until the 2nd half, the Pistons will get 20 offensive boards.

No, Chauncey was the one that really got us going to start the game. We hit a couple of shots when he left, but we were clearly heading the wrong direction. Chauncey tried to come in and get us some easier shots. Sure Chauncey has made some mistakes, but considering we're still up 12 and Chauncey hasn't been very good, I'll take it. Chauncey has only taken 2 shots. He needs to stop being so unselfish.

Only thing that I have enjoyed tonight is that Carlos Delfino is actually getting minutes, and he's playing good.

Once he learns how to finish that "Ginobili-esque" drive to the hoop he is going to be a stud off the bench for us. Right now he's just leaving it short a lot of the time.

I liked what he did in the first quarter, but I thought he contributed to the Spurs run when he came back in the second. He encouraged Tayshaun to settle for two jumpers, tried for a third but threw it OOB, and traveled when he should have had an easy stroll to the rim for a dump-off. There's a special place in for point guards who throw no-look passes out of bounds.

Spurs got outrebounded by 15 in 1st half Doubled up on the Spurs.

    Pistons 29 rebs
    Spurs 14 rebs

Not good, not good at all.

Also, Pistons are shooting 54% while Spurs are shooting 38%

Yep you're right. It's so much fun to see the "glimpses" of his abilities. Once his game matures, he's gonna be a stud.

Pistons are the best team in the league.
Pistons were the best team in the league long before this game lol. The main difference I see in both teams is the Pistons have a consistent lineup and rotation pattern that makes sense. The Spurs look like the exact opposite. Even if San Antonio were to somehow win this game tonight Detroit is still the best team in the league since 1 game is not likely to change anything.

LOL. Personally, on that out-of-bounds TO I thought he should have just pulled up for the 15 footer. He is money from there (and anywhere pretty much). He had no one within 15 feet of him. Oh well, we're just nitpicking here. I came into the game thinking we were going to get wasted. So I can't really complain.

    wow
    http://www.nba.com/games/20060112/DETSAS/livestats.html

stats tell a sad story. Spurs are lucky to be down by only 12.
    no 3Gs,
    3 AST (instead of 9 or 10)
    Tim stone cold
    Michael 0 pts
RBs -15 (Pistons have +RBs on us more than we have RBs total)
39% shooting (vs Spurs avg of 47%).

    ing disaster.

now they're in a deep hole and Pistons are gonna help them dig out.

Spurs suck this game. Like the previous Pistons game, the Spurs forgot they had to rebound.
