Not endorsing any ways. Most folks had family doctors who handled things.
Like scrapping the womb. Just wasn't talked about, since in some cases it
was a family matter.

I like elbow room
you know youre a real asshole
This thread started out talking about the abortion issue being brought before the Supreme Court again; and then it degenerated into people insulting others and using crude, vile language. It makes me wonder how old some of the posters are, because some of this seems very immature and juvenile - especially the comments about people's mothers.
You all need to have your mouths washed out with soap!!
you should be careful how you address me, boy. I'm a well-respected member of this community, and you've yet to prove your worth. Stand down, or I'll be forced to embarass you.
But that's the point, xray. What do you think those doctors were doing to handle those things? I'd suggest to you that unless medical science has taken a gigantic leap backwards and wholly forgotten about a non-abortive technique for "handling things," those family doctors were performing abortions of some sort. Do you support that or not? If you do, then it seems to me that, essentially, you're for legislation that would totally outlaw abortion because it was better when it was secretive and not widely-spoken of as an abortion.

You sound like a good 'ol boy in some small town talking to an "outsider" who's causing trouble.
Right, but now "handling things" would be illegal. Even if it is still a family matter.
Okay, I'm officially declaring this the "Brokeback Thread."
Does that mean that this thread will be critically acclaimed, but people will refuse to read it because of its content?
Probably. And, the critical acclaimers are all gay!
Meaning you endorse this thread?
I started this thread...not that there's anything wrong with that.
And Seinfeld reruns out of syndication can't come fast enough. God the stolen cliches are getting old...
