LOL. You are 2 1/2 games behind son. We hold the tiebreaker, which is good for 1 game.

They better kick it up soon then or they'll be starting the Finals on the Western Finals winners homecourt. Point is they are on a par with Western Conference elite unlike what everyone was saying in Jan. We saw the Pistons at their absuolute best in Nov - Jan. We haven't seen the Spurs at their absolute best yet in all likelihood.
So the Pistons are regressing now while the Spurs are building towards playing their best ball at the end of the season and on into the playoffs. Yep, the Pistons are a Flip Saunders-coached team.
You nailed it I sure hope we can still make the playoffs but even if we do we will never get by the mighty Heat.![]()

No. You'll walk past the Heat. Then you'll meet a tough, battle tested Western conference team.
....and grind them into the dirt.

although they have the best record in the nba right now, detroit has been losing their defensive iden y since the start of the season. maybe their defense is still better than miami but heat has an opposite trend as riley gives huge amount of confidence to his team and they have a far better bench than detroit right now. many teams can not find a good outside defender whereas miami has two in posey and shandon anderson. to me, detroit's only advantage against spurs is they have 6-11 rasheed wallace to defend duncan instead of 6-8 udonis haslem. but when we compare this to riley's far greater ability of winning in the playoffs than saunders and miami's depth, heat will be more dangerous. that's what i wanted to explain.
