The NBA hates the Spurs.
All refs are out to get them for being classy. You would expect the opposite, but I guess not.
Its quite simple. The Mavs were taking it to the hoop ALL ING NIGHT LONG. The Spurs were not.

For a blocking foul, which was called, yes, it does matter.
I really hate Mark Cuban though, he is such a ing .
He's so full of himself, he thinks he's tough, he thinks he's a chick magnet.
I would love to beat the out of the pansy ass .
So if you are stationary, and someone steps on your ing foot, it's your fault??????
I hate his fake teeth smug grin; he really should get better dentures where they don't look so fake....you know he can afford them.
Is it me...or are the Refs totally out to get us...I was just at my boys house...whose got TIVO...and damn...replaying those "questionable" calls...I mean it can't be more obvious then that...dammit...
Um, the Spurs probably scored over half their points in the paint, thanks proving you didn't watch the game and are here to troll. Its quite simple. The Mavs were taking it to the hoop ALL ING NIGHT LONG. The Spurs were not.
I was agree with the gist of this thread.
That was a horrible call against Duncan.
Refs should not determine the outcome of games. When Mavs shoot 50 free throws, something is wrong. Does David Stern really think that a game where each team (lol wish that they were equal) shoots 50 free throws is an entertaining game and a product with much appeal? If so, he needs to think again.
This is not the way that playoff games have been called historically and I don't believe that this game was anomalous in the amount of "fouls" committed. The same amount of physical contact took place.
Like Madden says about NFL, you can call a foul on every play if you want.
The contact resulted from Dirk stepping on Tim's foot. Therefore, it should not have been counted as a foul on Tim. It should have been a no call. Unless there is a clear, unambiguous foul that absolutely must be called, the refs should let the teams play and lay off the whistle.
agreed. the spurs took it to the rack the entire second half.
Ummm....dumbass why would they. They took care of that after game 1 and its helped them since. STFU.
The Spurs didn't play well enough and got beat. Refs had nothing to do with this. Maybe the Spurs will play with an increased sense of urgency next time.
Well, I've played ball up through high school. To play devil's advocate, what kind of stuff leads to a pussy ass jump shooter shooting 24 FTs tonight? Humor me.No, actually what i am asking is what makes you think you know so much about basketball? Some of the things that go on out there you wouldnt under stand unless you've played on a high school or collegiate level.
Does someone want to help the Bride of Cuban here out on this one? You're probably just a casual fan who doesnt even watch untill the playoffs and you get on here acting like a big shot.![]()
On a positive note, can you blow up your avatar about 10Xs?
Who is she?

Whatever, cornbread.
It's funny. If you watch the Mavs during the game, it's as though Avery has told them to keep quiet after each call. As for the Spurs, the whining during the game is ri- ing-diculous.
It's not hard to stay quiet when you're getting the calls.
Maybe I'll put her in my sig.
It's my friend J. Lo.![]()
How ould the ref see if there was foul by Barry. That ball should be for the Spurs, because that was jus a normal turnover by Dirk.
You are missing the point. The Spurs should not have been without Duncan. The Refs should not be intentionally biased. This is a crime. If I stole something from you, would you want me punished? Of course you would. IT is a federal crime to fix a sporting event in any way, and that is what has happened. The fans should show Stern that this will not be tolerated. No more merch. No more tickets to games. Demand that Stern be removed and banned from basketball forever.
Refs blew plenty of calls for the Mavs to. What about the Josh Howard block with 1:25 left, it was %100 clean. And did the refs make manu bounce the ball off his knee?
In game 2, as bad as the officials were, the Spurs clearly need look no further than the mirror to find why they lost the game. The game 2 loss falls squarely on the shoulders of every Spur not named Tim Duncan.
In game 3, we encounter a different situation. Tim Duncan got a lame call for his sixth foul removing our best player from the team. His presence at the defensive end could bring a needed stop. His presence at the offensive end gives order to our offense which revolves around him. Plays run better when he is in the game.
It is not too much to say that if he is in the game, we probably win this game and we lost because he was called for a nonexistent 6th foul. This is not to even mention the horrible discrepancy at the free throw line in general, especially considering that the Spurs score at least as many points in the paint as the Mavs. Since the refs wrongly caused him to remove him from the game and with him in the game we would have won the game, it is logical to conclude that the refs caused us to lose this game.
This is the most disgraceful game I've seen in 30 years of watching basketball.
shot down!
