I have no idea how this works. Does the fouled team have to be the one to show the league? Does it have to come from team officials at all or can say someone in the media show them?

Um no. Now they have 4 players who can score as opposed to 5. If we put Bowen on Howard and sag everyone back to take Harris' drives, we can let Dirk score 50 and still win.
Based on what the league has been calling this year, that is a clear suspension. It's a punch to the family tree area. It wasn't a non suspension pull ala Reggie Evans, it was a punch aimed at damaging family tree. The angle I saw wasn't good, but I saw an arm moving and FIN's reaction pretty much says it all.
Even though I'd prefer just a fine, I think a ruling for or against Terry is fine. Memo to Terry: Don't mess with the jewels. If it wasn't for Bowen, there's no telling what FIN would have done.

The team can ask for the review (which supposedly the Spurs did) or the officials can ask for the league's review I guess. I don't think the media can have anything to do with it.

The league reviews things on their own, even when teams don't submit things. So if it makes the papers or something, odds are that Stern has his people reviewing it.
