Better talent on the bench? Obviously. That will balance out with the experience of the playing in the finals by the heat. The heat have players the can get them prepared off and on the court like no coach can (Avery is your sole champ experience). Talent won't matter in that series. It will be about desire. It would be a nice final and David Stern
And you've yet to answer my question of who on the Heat has played in the finals besides Shaq and Payton sort of.

no but I dont see the point

isnt there some gay MAvs forum like MavsTalk for you to post in...you need a game comments on a Spurs board? Mav fans can go themselves with an aids infected dildo for all I care. They still act like tools for a team thats never won
I too was invited here by a Spurs fan who said it was a great place to talk about basketball (which I still think it is). Some of you guys like to throw out stuff like this guy did and it is just so obviously bitter. Do most of the Spurs fans on SpursTalk think this way? I know there are dip s on both sides, and there always will be. Just wondering if you guys think this dumbass represents the majority.

I didn't seem so much of a factor when the pistons alomst swept the lakers a couple years ago. The lakers had malone payton george kobe shaq fisher and a couple of other guys with championship expirence, it didn't do them much good.

And the back then the pistons had none. At least our coach has some finals expirence.

Why are you being an ass-clown. It's still two more than Dallas as far as players are concerned.

I'm not. It was a serious question.

But I also think you're nuts if you think 2 guys who have played in the Finals (one of which hasn't even won one) is enough to make up for the pretty massive disparity in talent between our "2nd tier" players and theirs.

Not to mention you never responded to the counter-argument that the Pistons somehow managed to beat the 2004 Lakers in 5 games despite the Lakers 3 les in the past 4 years and slew of "championship experience."

You can talk about desire all you want and I agree. But experience does not equal desire. The 2004 Pistons proved that.

This thread is hilarious. The bitterness of Spurs fan still lingers and is just as delicious as the day the Mavs sent those whining es packing.

Talking about the ball not hitting the rim on that Dirk shot? Wasn't there a similar call in the Spurs-Mavs series where Frenchman threw one up that didn't hit rim and SA got the ball back? Besides, it's not as though that one play decided the game for the Suns. They're slowing leaking any gas they have left. No depth and tired legs = fishing time.

Since when did I say experience equals desire. I stated in the mavs - heat series it will come down to desire because talent = experience in that series. Devin who has played great is not a magic johnson type persona that can ignore the pressure of the finals. Stackhouse has been known to choke games away when he was the focal point of the offense. Van Horn is the same. Do you notice that all your bench is used that scoring mentality. They want to score first. That's why the mavs assists total are so low. 95% of mavs plays are isolations, back downs, pull up jumpers. i.e Dirk, Stack, Terrty. They haven't taken in the duty to be role players like so many of the heat players have.

Even Walter was once the focal point of the offense but he doesn't mind distributing or doing what is right for the team. Same with Posey, J-will and others. They know that they have to play off of Wade and Shaq for them to succeed. I don't think the mavs understand that yet. The mavs have very young guys will a lot of talent but it's the abuse of talent that you should be concerned about. That is what will make this series all about desire, want, passion, heart - WHO WANTS IT MORE?

Showed a replay of that Terry continuing his dirty play throwing an elbow to Nash's forehead and cutting him. Parker was right, the guy is a cheap shot artist. Somebody needs to lay that er out.
no more or less than Bowen(kicking people in the back) or Horry(biting people's ear) ala Mike Tyson. Quit hatin' cause the Mavs ended your run.

    Mavs win game 3*.

    * did not hit rim.

The officiating has sucked ass all the way around. East, west, ing joke.
Dallas was still up by 6, and the momentum had already quickly shifted back to Dallas after Thomas got his pass deflected. PHX grabbed no rebounds at the end and Dallas held them to under 90...not just under 100. in Incredible. Dallas is clearly catching on to PHX's tempo. This series was over right before halftime. Quit blaminng the officials. PHX is 0-7 this entire series when they score under a 100. No way do they win this game tonight. Even Marv,Steve Kerr and the entire TNT crew said that call was totally irrelevent to the outcome of the game. Quit hatin'.

Javie also blew two out of bounds call that should have been off Dallas in this game. Is Cuban blowing him this playoffs?
aaaghh!! still bitter from that Dallas victory.
Always remember this...if Terry plays game 6...the series is over in 6.

Let me refresh your memory. The suns won a very close game in game 1 because Dallas for one choked and the suns made plays. Is Javie ed up in game 1 like he did tonight, mavs win. Who knows what would have happened if the Javie had stuck the whistle where it properly belongs: up his ass.

Is Jason Terry re ed? That is a serious question. I don't think developing a face deformity during a game normal.

A controversial call going the Mavs way in a playoff game? I'm shocked, really...
you guys got about 20 controversial calls in game 7 that literally kept u in it and u still couldn't pull it off. now that is shocking!

Are you making my arguement for me. Check out your new logo. It is directly due to it. Didn't you catch Dirk whining like a little when Thomas blocked his shot. He was literally hoping up and down like a little girl who just had her ice cream stolen.

How do you up a routine nba call. Shot clock violation happen every game. ing useless to have a brain fart in that situation. Man up Javie. If you saw it hit rim stick to your ing decision. If it did, call it. Stick to your call, moron. ing pathetic.
Chill out...Dallas wins that game with or withot the call.
