My biased trade proposals?
Yes the rumored trade has been in the air for awhile but that doesn't mean the Spurs and Sixers couldn't get involved.
But what does it matter, in the end its just my idea.
the PJ brown/ Jr smith for Tyson Chandler has been a trade rumor for weeks, and its also the headline on espn.com/nba/.....so obviously its on the verge to going down...
so buddy holly ur biased trade proposals can go down the drain
spurs don't have many trade assets ...besides barry beno and oberto

The whole point was us getting in on an Atlanta - Philly trade, and sending some parts out and getting back a long SF out of the deal. Atlanta would be getting AI, that's what they're interested in.
lol i would hope bulls would want beno barry and oberto for chandler, or somethin along those lines to get him. But realistically there's no chance. Especially when Bulls have two point guards already in Hinrich and Duhon, since Beno would be the most valuable trade bait due to his diminutive contract and his ability.
CHANDLER IS A VERY BAD IDEA.
He's too expensive and his production is not that great. And he's injury prone and may even have a shortened career because of it.
It's not really such a long shot - the Sixers were willing to trade Hunter for two 2nd round picks before he failed the Hornets' physical. Beno, Oberto, and possibly a 2nd round pick may be more than enough.
If you go for a three team Spurs-Philly-Hawks trade.
Beno-Oberto-Barry-Scola
Allen Iverson-Kyle Korver-Steven Hunter
Joe Johnson-Josh Smith
Beno, Oberto, Scola, Joe Johnson to the Sixers
Allen Iverson, Kyle Krover, Barry to the Hawks.
Josh Smith, Steven Hunter to the Spurs.
Tony/???
Manu/Finley
Bowen/Josh Smith
Tim/Horry/Bonner
Steven Hunter/Javtokas
That would be wonderful... the bad news... it won't happen. The Hawks won't trade Smith and JJ. Cool idea though... add Barnes, Sanders, Pargo and you are set...
Tony/ Pargo/ 3rd PG
Manu/ Finley/ Sanders
Bowen/ Smith/ Barnes
Tim/ Horry/ Bonner
Hunter/ Javtokas
Way too good to be true...![]()
If they want Iverson they'll have to.
How about Brent + Beno = Dalembert. That would certainly help out a lot
Could this deal really work???
Dalembert makes alot more than that.
A Hunter deal all depends on how the Sixers feel about Dalembert AND Hunter now. Those feelings may have changed since they last tried to unload Hunter.
Tony/???
Manu/Finley
Bowen/Smith/Williams
Tim/Jeffies/Horry/Bonner
Hunter/Javtokas/Marks
Man I don't know about giving up Beno for Steven Hunter. I'm a Magic fan too and he was absolutely terrible for them. I know he picked it up a bit with Phoenix and Philly but Beno is a great backup PG IMO. I don't think I'd do that deal.
Iverson for Parker and Beno
that's AT LEAST 3 more les
I would do it if we're bringing in a Pargo type PG to fill the void...
The Barry at point expirement has failed miserably. We need a solid backup PG...
The Barry at point expirement has failed miserably.
You mean the 2005 Finals was a miserable failure?
We haven't tried it since.
you don't think AI+DUncan= les?
maybe you missed how good AI still is last season
I don't remember if he played it at times throughout the game, but generally speaking the past 2 seasons when we've tried to play him at point he's forgotten how to dribble penetrate.
Didn't Manu play the point more in that series, when TP was having problems?
Iverson + Any other superstar = Disaster
The guy cannot play with another player of his skill level. Give him some Tyrone Hill's and he's good to go.
Beno is so underrated here. He is one of the best passers in the league.
Iverson really helpe the US team in 2004![]()
Beno is not a bad player at all.
It's just, with TP...we need a certain type of presence off the bench. Beno is not that.
