Sanikidze is the one directly behind the trophy. Looks like he could still use a couple of trips to McDonald's.

Anyone know his current height? Has he grown since the draft when he was said to be 6'8?

I wonder if that calf sleeve on Viktor's rt. leg is covering a tat or if it serves some other purpose (i.e. muscle strain).

I wonder if there's a chance he plays this year and is the "long three" we're looking for this season.

    I'd take him over Melzer.

well he can rebound the ball really well for a SF, he can play alot of minutes consecutively and not get tired (he played 3 or 4 straight games of 35+ minutes)

Sanikidze was a straight laced young man with a George Washington haircut. Then he came to America and turned into a freak.

    Sorry, Georgia.

Viktor could have been playing 35 minutes and scoring 30 for Little Sisters of the Pure in Heart, but that doesn't mean he's ready for the NBA.

I would just say that he copied hip american culture.

The fedora he wore to some games though last year was just plain stupid.

Viktor, stop trying to look like Kevin Federline for the love of pete.

It wasn't worse than that giant cowboy hat he wore with that shiny shirt.

I think his Hooters waitress girlfriend might be influencing him

Remember Tony's mother was at one game a couple years ago, the 03 Finals? In a cowboy/rhinesone outfit. Very tacky (at least to some), but she was just having fun. the arbiters of style and taste.

One must remember that all the costumes that US citizens wear is part of the American dream for foreigners, who compound the style choices by not being fully attuned to what is "good" taste within the each costume's sub-culture.

She wears those tacky outfits to Spurs games all year long.

Tony's mom and dad are lightyears apart in their sense of style.

    Slim chance.

Expect him to play at the very least one more year in Europe. Hopefully, in the Euroleague.
