What about Tommy's?
I've heard that about In-'N-Out burgers, but I have also heard they rule. I've never had one. I know people who ooh and ahh about Red Robin, too; I don't care for that place at all. Don't see what the big deal is. It's over-priced and the food is not that hot, especially the burgers. I much prefer Chester's, but my all-time favorite burger, bar none, is Fuddrucker's.
Haha, I remember when they opened up the first Sonic in Southern Virginia when I lived there about five years ago. For three months straight, there was a line out on the street and cops to direct traffic. People couldn't get enough. I have been back 3x in the last three years and the lines have subsided, but only because they have opened up four more in the area.
I agree with Kori, you don't go for the burgers. You go for the coneys, tots and drinks. Now I want a route 44 drink. Maybe something watermelon-y. Damn.
Blasphemy!
Sonic would NEVER own In'N'Out.
Tempe AZ...they recently built an InNOut...check the traffic flow since it opened...compare it to sonic....
No contest. InNOut will always be the #1 Burger in LA...
Wow...did I just defend a fast food chain? Maybe its cause I'm in LA...and I know what a hamburgers.....all about.
Yeah! They have some real tasty burgers.
I've ordered the same thing at Sonic for probably 10 or so years... 1 large Ocean Water and a footlong chili/cheese coney hold the onions.
I'd rather go to Tommy's than In-'N-Out, and there is an In-'N-Out right around the corner from me.
BTW, have any of you guys tried Culver's? They have a delicous burger as well, not to mention some pretty good frozen cus too.
Oh, man ... I don't know if they have a new burger cook or what, but Chris has made me order from there 3 times in the last week and they've been the most perfectly cooked hamburgers I ever remember having.
He gets a pretty awesome "O" face from the double cheeseburger, plain & dry ... with extra cheese. It's hawttt.![]()
Tommy's is $.
My favorite burger at Chester's is the single cheesburger with the grilled onions (nothing else)...the cheese melts all through the onions...OMG! Talk about "foodgasm"!!!! But, I usually don't even get a burger there...I usually get the BLT on Texas toast. Now, that is to die for.
Last night I tried the chili cheeseburger plain with grilled onions. Oh, man. Tonight I will be doing an upper AND lower body workout and an hour on my elliptical trainer.
I'd have done it last night to compensate, but I couldn't get off the couch after that.![]()
I think I have to go to Chester's tonight.![]()
Yes, 'tis better to not get sucked into the slushie, soft serve, tot world that which is Sonic.
Creme Brulee... I could bathe in that .
That's how I eat my burgers, plain & dry with cheeeese. But single meat, double is trouble and just too much meat.
too easy
A girl can never have too much meat.
I beg to differ. If you can't get your mouth around it, it's too much.
Speak for yourself!
But it's fun trying!![]()
That's what a tongue is for.
