That was a lame decision.
Shoulda just played for OT.
the commentator kinda said ginobili's gonna remember that for a long time.. this spells trouble.......

can someone explain what happened in the last minute? final score?
He'll be fine.
Can somebody please explain this foul to me?Thats total crap imo. You give your opponent the possibility to lead with 19 sec left and you put all the pressure on yourself...
JUST PLAY GOOD DEFENSE AND TAKE IT TO OVERTIME OR GET IT A FEW SECONDS BEFORE THE END FOR 1 LAST SHOT!!! DAMN.
I am pissed. But Congrats to Spain. They played a good game, especially with that weak start. Will be a good final game. I am looking forward to see Arg.-USA tomorrow.
Nocioni missed the final shot, Spain won 75-74.
Well, I didn't have a favourite in this match, but would've felt really bad for Gasol if Spain lost this one. I hope he's ready till tomorrow...
Otherwise, two great matches today, and basketball won both of them...
75-74
I wish they had their Olympic Coach.
Tomorrow's bronze medal game is going to be ugly.
Geez, this sucks. Manu has had one damn starcrossed year with these tight games not going our way. I'm starting to seriously worry about the guy. It's like he can't jump anymore. He used to dunk on everybody, now it's like floater attempts and hoping to get foul calls. More and more his points are coming from 3s... I thought whatever injury wise troubled him with the Spurs, he'd have healed up after some rest, but it doesn't seem to have helped. How can a guy lose all his ups at 29?
man. It's a double LOSS. I did not need this to go into the weekend!
Now we have to watch Manu's team play the U.S. team and they'll still end up as LoSers!! Both Losersss I tells ya!
now they have their argentina-us matchup everybody was looking out for...![]()
Haha....PAUO GASOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like Barkely says lol. Anyway who cares. If the US wanted to win...cut Wade and others who can't shoot worth a crap. Just the Mavs luck that dude played out of his mind in the Finals....even hitting 3's....he is a horrible shooter. Should have got Kobe, SHaq, and KG.
Im fine with the foul. my problem is shooting for 3 when a 2 would have done it. I'm still proud of our guys, minus delfino.
spain should thank the fiba refs for keeping them in the game in the 1st, and for scratching a gasol foul (had that not happened he would have been out at 3:something and not rolled his ankle)
Yeah I was wondering why he didn't dunnk it on their asses when he had a couple opportunities. I know he was just planning on helping the team out and stuff and reducing his role, but geez, when you're taking over TAKE OVER!
Are you kidding? Manu kept them in the game! And I'll take that 3-pt shot any day of the week.
Yeah I don't know why they didn't capitalize on that miss.
What's there to remember? He drove the lane, drew two people and passed it to the team's 2nd best player for a wide open shot. He's got plenty of moments in this game to regret, but he didn't do anything wrong on the last possession.
yeah, like Shaq and KG agreed to play..
why?
I honestly think it has become quite apparent Manu is simply not giont to be the player we saw in 2005 for the rest of his career. He will probably be a very good player, but not the same Manu we saw that year.
That was sweet and deep.
And Scola did his part with the Free Throws as well.
It's just we didn't have any luck left with Nocioni. Which hurts. He usually makes those. They should have set up a play for one of the big guys in the post with Gasol hurt.
He did a pretty good job. You guys are talking like the loss is on him. He did his part. The team got outplayed.
When he was a dominant player he could do it all spurschick. Yes his 4 of 9 3 point shooting kept them in it, but the 2 of 12 in the lane kept Spain in it. But the other poster was right, nobody on argentina except for Sanchez played all that great.
It was definitely a team loss.
