Good win. The trio of Manu-Beno-Barry (with Manu the defacto point) seems pretty effective lately. I'm curious if Pop will still find a way to go to it when Ginobili's starting again.
I am very please with the last two games

Pop cussin up a storm on basic cable.
That was a classic Pop moment!!![]()
Damn, the lighting in the FSSW studio is turning Dana Larson into Two-Face.
Yes, he will. When Manu was starting, Pop was taking manu out early in the period and then reinserting him in when Barry and beno were in late in the first quarter/early second quarter.
can anyone put that Manu three point play on a gif for the forum. That was sweet and should have been the play of the game.
I made a thread about Pop. That was frickin classic.
Damn, Barry was only 2-4 on 3s tonight!
His average is dropping like a stone.![]()
The revenge tour continues. See ya next year Charlotte.
i missed most the game
can someone tell me how Oberto and Herman played tonight?
They both played like
Dana Larson looks like she is a star trek extra vulcan.
"They take Robert Horry, who's old as dirt, and they put him in a ball screen and you have to make a decision," Sean May said. "Are you going to stop Tony Parker from getting a layup or Robert Horry from hitting that 3? They just put you in a tough position."
3 blocks for Emeka again.
San Antonio must consider Okafor if he decides to see other options when he becomes FA. He's like the young Zo or the Admiral, IMO.
yeah. it's weird...

"weird release on his shots"
shots, in a very wide definition of the term. Many are more like wild tosses, random shot-puts, knuckle-balls, shoves ball in general direction of the backboard.
Not to mention he looks possessed, just look at his face.![]()

Oberto had a solid game. The only time Fab had trouble on D was early when the Bobcats started the game small with Gerald Wallace playing the PF. Fab had a couple of nice plays inside where he went to the open space and scored. He's actually improved his FT shooting stroke. It's not so flat any more.
Herrmann didn't look very good on defense, especially when trying to defend Manu out on the floor. He did hit a couple of nice 3's from the right wing, one of them off a ball fake and one that was well-contested.
Are these blowouts good for a team because of the extra rest for starters or do they cause a team to lose their edge and hurt them the next time they are challenged?
Good question... I think in regards to the Spurs it hurts them (which is probably true that they could coast if Dallas wasnt right there).... they all get big ass ing heads and think they can coast the next game.... so it hurts them. This all comes down to the coach though IMHO, If I was Pop Id be out there literally beating the out of them with a freaking whip if the team gave any inclanation that they think they can coast the next game, they are SOOO much better then what they have shown, the Golden State game is an indication of what the Spurs are capable of if they just buckle down and ing play the game.
Yeah, games where they start off sloppy and fall behind or just look lethargic for 3 1/2 quarters really piss me off. I like when they come out and play like the Spurs we all know and love. This team is too good to let other teams "think" they are as good as the Spurs.
Thanks Solid D!![]()
