Yeah cause Butler and White playing in a game like tonight, will further develop them beyond how they are now.the joke plays on
according to the NBA.com boxscore, the other players active for tonight that haven't played are Udrih and Williams.
the joke plays on
yet another game where in case of a blowout, the Spurs refuse to have either White or Butler active so they can at least get some minutes.
All for Eric Williams to get a few minutes of time before he either gets traded, gets bought out, or does a whole lot of nothing while waiting for his contract to expire.

There's only so much a player can do in practice. It does help to see them on the court.
Help who?It does help to see them on the court
The Spurs?
To see what they would do against other NBDLers?
WTF? Amway Arena? When did the DeVos fam buy the rights to their own arena? I'm SO glad the Spurs don't play in the Holt Cat Arena.

Because Eric Williams needs the time to develop?
Is Eric Williams on the mythical fake Stephen Jackson plan too? Is he under contract for next year?
lol
To see how they react in real-game, real-time situations? You know, it's how people usually evaluate players, by seeing them play rather than seeing them practice.
No, but the other two are.Is Eric Williams on the mythical fake Stephen Jackson plan too? Is he under contract for next year?
They arent gonna play.
So deal with it and move on and quit whining.
I've been ranting about him shooting with no arch and pulling his shots short because he was shooting flatfooted with feet even and no leg flexing movement for years.
I'm afraid when he gets a little tired in the 4th he'll revert to his old style and start bricking them short again.
Seeing how Butler and white do against 12th stringers in blow outs doesnt mean squat. To see how they react in real-game, real-time situations? You know, it's how people usually evaluate players, by seeing them play rather than seeing them practice.
Derrick Dial looked good in those games too.
Cause that's how fan forums work. You know, realism, balanced takes and accepting everything the team does as gospel.
Good first half offensively.
Hopefully the Spurs play some more D in the second half and can rest the starters.
Yet, it's fine to send Eric Williams out there, because that obviously benefits the team. You can see things, like how they rotate, how they close out. There is value in real-game experience, that's why James White was sent to Austin for awhile.
This ref crew is awful.
See that little kid with the TD Wake Forest jersey?![]()
yeah that kid is a Wake Forest alumni![]()
shiit, nice move by Howard. Spurs by 6
