It's not that we don't sleep, it's that the arthritis pain only lets one sleep for about 3 hours at a time
Besides we agreed more than we disagreed on the guy movie list and probably will on the next one of these----tho we may have an argument over whether the glorious original Marshall Dillon The Thing was better or worse than the Wilford Brimley/Goldie Hawn's Squeeze remake
And doing this helps keep our voices out of the various Sturm und Drang choruses regarding the recent (until the last 2 games of the RRT) down tick in Spurs bball fortunes

How Tora, Tora, Tora can be near the top of this list is beyond my compreshension.

And for whatever reason prefer Naval battle movies to Army battle movies
I had to go back and reevaluate & downgrade Brimley's career after he tried to pass himself off as a Cajun in Hard Target
And I'm still in my annual snit about The Academy giving that dweeb Tom Hanks 2 Oscars (not to mention 1 to Ben Affleck) and never giving an acting one to Peter O'Toole---that Lifetime Achievement Oscar was just throwing the guy a bone; as a result, I'll vote against anything with Tom Hanks, with the possible exceptions of Bachelor Party & Dragnet
I can tell by the way you treat Saving Private Ryan. Crazy. That is definitely the best war movie ever made. There isn't even a close 2nd.

It's a decent movie but it's a far cry from the best war move ever made.
It's not even entirely original...
It rips off the Fighting Sullivans big time, which is based on a true story....and which should be on this list but I knew it was a lost cause.
The Fighting Sullivans however is a Propagandized WWII era movie about 5 real life brothers who all died in service to America during WWII...and they weren't trying to make a statement about the horrors of war.
