You might try looking at the thread started by Ponky about the Suns playing the Grizzlies on this board. I think you will find who started it there.
    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA....still mad?!?!?!?!?

anyway, like i told the other *reasonable* suns fans, i mentioned that four guys AVERAGED 38 min in the grizz win, four starters. i didn't say that the suns sucked or that they played horribly, you went there and assumed whatever

Hey, you picked this fight, troll, I'm going to troll back. Now you want to resort to qualifiers and "Hey, they're both good teams, they just had an off-night"? Too late. Maybe Steve Nash should've followed Gilbert Arenas' example and gotten himself an oxygen tent to sleep in too. If the Suns are still alive in the conference finals, he'll be like me after 30 minutes on the treadmill. If the season lasted 60 games instead of 82, I think the Suns would be the hands-down favorites. Nash has broken down in the playoffs six years running. This year will be no different. He's also at a career high in MPG with 36. Nothing left in the tank come early June. Mavs in six over Phoenix, Mavs-Spurs is a tossup. I guess I'm actually rooting for Phoenix to beat San Antonio. They'll be an easier mark.

Actually it isn't Nash that has broken down in the playoffs. Might want to look up stats on that. He has actually gotten better in the playoffs than the regular season. Raja got hurt last year, Thomas was just coming off a stress fracture and of course Amare was out with microfracture surgery. I would be really proud of your team beating a depleted team Like to see your team be without three players that are important and even make it through the first round let alone make it to the WCF. I don't think the Suns or their fans are scared of the Mavs at all. The Spurs will be the harder team to get by.

don't forget, while mentioning their TWO players out, dirk was out the entire second half and part of the second quarter...not an excuse mind you, because WE won, just tell the whole story

Here is the excuse card, no matter how you want to spin it.

The he has. I watched him get owned by Mike Bibby and Tony Parker four years running. And nothing has changed since he went to the desert. He may have suited up for Phoenix and played every game but in the series against us he was clearly running on fumes. That's what I'm talking about, not his availability to play. We're not scared of you either. It's the Spurs that offer the most significant roadblock to a return trip to the Finals.

Haha maybe so...only problem is that your gonna have to bust your ass to get by the Spurs. THen even if you beat the Mavs you're gonna be so worn down that you'll likely lose to the East...much like what happened to the Mavs last year.

Gonna pull for the Spurs/Mavs matchup....one cause I want Texas to represent and secondly cause the Mavs matchup better against the Spurs.

Who's using Dirk as an excuse? Two guys played big minutes, 1, 2. Two other guys played over 30 min, everyone else played, 21, 21, 22, 23 minutes. Who else did you expect to play? Kevin Willis is signed but not ready to play. Pops Mensah Bonsu was not in uniform. Dirk was not in uniform. Mbenga is out for the season. So really, the only guy that saw zero minutes is JJ.

If the Mavs are so great they should be demolishing teams like the Kings then by your logic. No matter who is out right?

excuse for what? a win? you know what the bucks' record is against the west, right? they are not going to lie down when michael redd is healthy and playing. we won, there is no need for excuses.

the excuse is used for when you lose....ala suns w/o nash.

Umm the Mavs bench is over-rated have you seen it...look at the box scores? Besides Stack they all are just role players and can't score. Buckner is just awful, Diop has no offensive game, Croshere...umm do i need to say? Even Harris is mediocre at best. Mavs are only good cause everyone knows their role and sticks to it...however if a scorer like Dirk is out...they have no chance in the long run.

The Mavs have the best team...only cause Dirk, Josh and Terry are so good and everyone else defers scoring to them. They don;t have the best athetes or scores though

are you dumb? when you talk about the mavs, you are talking about sentient, living individuals, right? so, logic would dictate that you have to have some players to talk about when making a statement like "the mavs are great." it's obvious that when making a statement like "the mavs are great" that we aren't talking about the ballboy or the ticket saleswoman or the color commentary guy. so, if a player is out, then that will obviously have some impact on the team as a whole and thus impact the statement that "the mavs are great" anyway, i never said the mavs were great but since you put your foot in your mouth once again, i will respond. the mavs are great and when several guys are not available to play ball, the guys that are on the team must pull through and play well enough to win the game...and they did that, so yes, it's a great thing to accomplish, not to have to rely on one guy for the win, which the mavs do a lot less than the suns....because they are greatness personified. ok, that last part was the beer.

Dirk cannot even carry a team when his team is so deep and not injured like last year. At least Nash works with less and does wonders. I would like to see Dirk work with what we had for the playoffs last year or better yet, let's see Jason Terry try doing what Nash has done without Amare and with Raja on one leg. Don't you think he would be a bit tired? Still Nash fought till the end.

lol, yeah, nash works with two all-stars...i guess that's less than dirk's one all-star....however, the problem is that those two all-stars can't do ca-ca without nash, BINGO!
