It is so strange- Butler actually playing.

white is playing great too
White's got the ugliest jumper on the team. Uglier than Beno's, uglier than Fab's. It's just a mess.
I was thinking the same thing![]()
White misses a 20 footer,
Bonner with the O BOARD
Gets blocked by Sene.
Foul on Butler on the other end.
107-83.
I know it's only against the Sonics......but doesn't Pop see the potential that was in Jackie Butler?
The way the Sonics are playing, we could drop Shoogar on the court and he'd go off for 8 per quarter.![]()
In Pop's mind, the 'veteran poise' of old man Oberto >>>> youthful exuberance of Butler.
Correction, it's against the Sonics' scrubs.
I don't know, Matt Bonner has a pretty "ugly" release. Even though he can hit three's and all.
36-22 in rebounds, in favor of the Spurs.
The Spurs starting five had 7 total rebounds, and yet the Spurs are up 36-22 there.
Maybe Pop told Duncan to give our bench some board chances to inflate their market value.

White is in perpetual motion, I like it. He's on the glass all the time.
This is a game you could tell the Sonics knew before the tip they had no shot at winning. Once the Spurs widened the gap in the 2nd half they laid down.
Jackie Butler missed Jump Shot, Blocked by Johan Petro (3 BLK)

What a candy ass foul by Beno![]()
Yea, but I think if Pop had handled the Butler situation a little differently from the start....he could be an effective starter by now. Instead he was forced to come here and told immediately that he won't be playing this season and the entire season would be a learning experience, mostly likely from the bench. Well...maybe Pop should have used Butler with limited minutes in the begining to he could learn from real in game experience and that would have motivated him to get in shape quicker and have a better at ude.
White got denied.
It was from the backside while Butler was faking out Sene.
Wow, White got some AIR there. Almost dunked but got fouled instead.
Anyone reminded of Malik Rose with White's demeanor?
