that's like acting as if you always get to the finals and you always win, which of course, is not the case.
she knows what she's talking about here. believe me.

the team is young and their compe ion is just getting older, at least many of the key guys are (shaq, nash, several spurs)
DALLAS -- The Dallas Mavericks signed 44-year-old center
Kevin Willis to a 10-day contract Monday, making him the oldest
    active player in the NBA.

    the mavs are doing alright
What? The 62-12 Mavs have lost 2 of their last 3 games. And the lone win? They very nearly choked against my lowly team.

    That's alright?

Listen to yourselves. You want the regular season to just BE OVER, and get on with the playoffs. The regular season "bores" you. You don't care about losses anymore. Suppose your team took on your personna...what could they possibly get done on the floor in that frame of mind?

If you're gonna think, think like your team. Would you be ashamed to learn your team knows that you, as fans, are taking their loss with a grain of salt? You think they DESERVE to lose a few, since they're so frigging good? No. They don't think so. Why should you?

    Just saying.

or maybe it's because i would rather have the bench play a lot more minutes and lose games than have injuries occur like they have to dirk once this week and jho twice this week...simmer down, why are you so obsessed with the mavs and what mavs fans say?

Any other night the Mavs would have dominated this game. They just had an off night, oh well
Mardigan is among the level-headed few. I, for one, appreciate that you don't go on a frenzy after wins/losses like others do. Others would do well to follow suit. I'm considering signing you up for a Pie Of The Month Club as a token of appreciation.

yeah because our third-string 44 yr. old center is going to see a lot of playing time. can't you ever be serious and talk real basketball. i wasn't stating anything that isn't true about the whole age factor. if you disagree then back it up with something reasonable, not some 10 day contract player who may see all of five minutes a game.

One of the worst basketball games I have ever seen. Pathetic. All the fans should be given their money back. Ugly! Ugly! Ugly!

Nah, that's not true, there are plenty of awesome Spurs fans and fans of other teams. TrueD has been stalking me the last week, ever since the Kings/Mavs game and VivaLasEspuelas is always posting smack when it comes to the Mavs, he hates everything Mavs related. There's a large variety of fans in the Spurs fanbase, I wouldn't necessarily lump them all together.

of course you would, regular season means everything to spurs fan
No it doesn't. Spurs are the better team regardless of being 1-2 vs Dallas. Dallas' little 70 game quest is over. They need to get ready for the playoffs which they don't seem to be doing.

So you don't believe that losing would affect your team...that Mavs are above getting beat down by losses? That is truly laughable. Do you know anything at all about compe ive sports? Sure, teams may rest certain players when they have a seed in the bag, and that would definitely be your team. But don't believe for a second that ANYONE in the Mavs organization takes losing lightly. Even with key guys out no one wants to lose. They care.
simmer down, why are you so obsessed with the mavs and what mavs fans say?
No obsession here, merely getting ready for the playoffs without my team in the mix, trying to decide who to root for in the second round-- Suns or the underdog Warriors. Just exploring all options.

OH! This is a Mavs thread in the Spurs forum, pardon me.

I wasn't. Mavs fell back into taking too many jumpers in the fourth and while Dirk drove to the basket with a little over two minutes left in the game, there is no way in he should've been passing the ball off twice in a row with under two minutes to go. Poor play will not get it done against the poor man's version of the Suns.

Where in my post did I say that I believed this, jesus learn to read already. Losses, when they no longer affect my team's standing, will not affect my team as much as recurrent injuries to JHO and Dirk's ankles when they don't get the rest they need. Sure, in an ideal situation it would be better to get the win even with the better guys out, that's not always going to happen. The Mavs made several key mistakes that are more of a concern than the loss itself, it'd be nice if you weren't selective about the comments you decide to post, because I've already mentioned this about the game. Save the whole "do you know anything" smack, it's puerile and reeks of hysterical drama. Anyway, your stalking is getting kind of weird and too preachy for me, if I don't respond it's because I've put you on the ignore list.

So you getting a hard on about the Spurs progress is re ed as well. Admit it , you HATE the mavs. Oh well I was wrong for the 13th time this season and I was right 62 times! Again, go yourself for trying to start in my thread hater. Also worry about your rebounding issues vs the Mavs etc etc. Maybe you guys might win round 2 so we can be the team responsible for ending your senior citizen asses again!!!

everybody's getting crazy...i just got my ups package today with the playoff tix so i could care less if the mavs lost today, i'm more concerned with jho's ankle
Ponky I make those sons of es crazy because they have the nerve to come in here and give me . Then they have the balls to get pissed off about it. I love my team but to them it is like a crime yet they hold circle jerks when the spurs play well. those assholes!! I really hope I am wrong about the Suns beating them because I want my boys to finish their team once and for all. Spurs fans need to get a reality check about how good their team really is and no team proves it more then my Mavs team.

Your team hasn't proven yet. Bring it on in the playoffs and I'll believe.
