But you are inspired by Beno's shooting .009 better than that?Dude shot .360 this year and that doesn't inspire confidence.
its ALLL pops fault thoughThat's the most egregious thing about Beno. I can think of at least three D-Leaguers who still haven't been called up I would rather have than Beno because, though they may be less talented, I've seen them do nothing but bust ass all season. I've seen Beno bust a couple of backboards and waistbands, but that's about it![]()

Meaningless game once again, as well as only one, far from an indicator. I don't think Pop expects Barry, Bowen, or Finely to play seriously or care at all these last three games with the three seed locked in.
Damn, in the beginning of the 3rd quarter?Denver is in trouble. Blake's legs are gone, and he's hitting the front of the rim.
Man, the Nuggets may have to make AI the point, with JR Smith, Anthony Camby and Nene...
Yikes![]()
It would make me happy if our scrubs could beat the other team's scrubs.
it wasn't meaningless.Meaningless game once again, as well as only one, far from an indicator. I don't think Pop expects Barry, Bowen, or Finely to play seriously or care at all these last three games, with the three seed locked in.
He plays like that all the time in pressure games.
Look at the playoffs last year against Dallas.
For all the you give me about Tony, TPark, you have way more agendas for and against players than I ever will.
You hate Beno, you hate Oberto, you take your shots at Manu, and now you're dumping on Barry too.
Let's just ignore a whole 82 game season's worth of evidence. Let's just rip Barry because of a couple bad games against Dallas. Forget that he's been our 4th or 5th best player all year. One bad game, returning from a back injury and it's Barry sucks and Barry is a pussy. You're incredible.
When it suits you one game is all you need to define a player and when it doesn't suit you, you have to look at his "body of work."
it was the same as this year.
beno was the backup Vaughn/Van Exel was brought in as the third as a veteran backup incase of foul trouble or Beno got into trouble.
Fact.
Last year during the playoffs against Dallas everybody pretty much stunk outside of Tim Duncan for most of the series. The only reason the Spurs escaped out of a 4-1 series loss was due to the explosion of Finley and Manu, as well as the choke factor the Mavs bring in close-out situations.
I hardly take shots at manu. For all the you give me about Tony, TPark, you have way more agendas for and against players than I ever will.

the only time i do is to try and even out your tony parker hate.
Oberto hate? basically I dont like that hes selective in the effort he doles out from game to game.
Beno? Is self explanatory.
With barry its more dissapointment than hate honestly. When they signed him i was fired up for a guy that could shoot that well without a big, imagine what he could do with DUNCAN!!
Hes done nothing but dissapoint and come up extremely short in game after game in the playoffs.
Period.
10 points 4 boards for Jackay![]()
Bah... down by 10 again.
damn 25 minutes for Steve blake??
Is Karl on the bong already?
T Park, no offense, but your Barry hate posts are every bit as frequent (and irrational) as aaronstampler's Parker hate posts.
We will have to agree to disagree.T Park, no offense, but your Barry hate posts are every bit as frequent (and irrational) as aaronstampler's Parker hate posts.
I only bag on the guy when he doesnt show up for playoff games.
Is it that horrible to expect him to at least live up to his contract in the playoffs?
Thats the only hate I bring forth against him,
Oh btw Spurm, none offense taken. You are the level of spurstalk heirarchy i one day aspire to reach![]()
BTW, waiting with baited breath for TIMVP's thread about the greatness of Reggie Evans
10 points 12 rebounds.
Ely though 8 points 5 rebounds.
I could still see Ely fitting in well here, which would rock.
leave it to Beno to get burned by Anthony ing Carter...
8 and 5 for Ely and hes going to the line.
IMO, hed still do better than Oberto.
2004-2005
in 23 playoff games averaged 6.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 24.1 minutes … hit 28-66 (.424) from downtown in the postseason … earned eight starts … scored in double-figures six times … in Game 1 at Phoenix on 5/22 scored a playoff-career-high 21 points (8-12 FG, 5-8 3PT-FG) in 34 minutes … logged 30-or-more minutes six times in the playoffs.
2005-2006
7.8 PPG
55.7 FG%
50 3PT%
2 RPG
2 APG
.7 SPG
Came big in the Sac series, hit some well needed threes.
Those stats are what I expect and the Spurs would expect from Barry. When he isn't performing all they need to do is mention trade and he'll peform again.
It's a meaningless game, especially when you've known throughout the past 5 games don't affect anything, the W or L doesn't matter. Nor who plays the game.damn 25 minutes for Steve blake??
13 points 14 rebounds for Reggie Evans.
Oh the horror that TIMVP will bring![]()
