Made the second. 95-89. Time out Suns.
After looking at the replay, that was a pretty bad no-call by the refs. Kobe got the wrist and forearm pretty badly.
what had the looks of an early blow out turned into a great game... i <3 playoff basketball.
yeah I really hope they don't trade Bynum and Odom
Barbosa probably would have gotten that call in Phoenix, but the hack might have been after the shot was away and it was blocked. Not that it wasn't a foul, but it didn't really affect the outcome of the shot.
Those 15 offensive rebounds in the first half were what kept the Lakers in the game. They were outshot 58% to 40% in the first half, yet only trailed by 3 at intermission.
And Farmar and Walton. And Kwame, but only if they can get him to actually play hard. They need to start fining him for not hustling down the court. I swear he's like if early David Robinson and Sidney Green had a child.
Ball game.
Smush is a dumb .
Let's see if Kwame can have another solid game on Sunday (I doubt it).
Props to the Lakers for hanging in there and pulling it out.
@ the dunk at the end of regulation. HAHAH
Wow, Smush. Way to ing go. You just gave the Suns motivation for game 4.
This LA, plagued by injuries (partly not their fault) has I think failed to improve on the LA of last year. Except for the Game 7 last year, they were playing with more heart. I hope that this victory will inspire them to level the series.
We just need a seed of doubt planted on the Sun's mins. The Suns are really great when they start rolling with victories. If they sweep the LA, the Spurs will have their hands full on a rolling Suns. But based on the regular season, they find it quite hard to build momentum after some losses. So I say, let LA beat them and darg this series into 7 games.
Alvin Gentry is funny.
