Plus no Nachbar, Milic, Becirovic, Udrih, Brezec....
Even if the NBDL team had won, it would be hardly something to brag about. I have to admit I am a little surprised about our good play though. But true tests come later.
Plus no Nesterovic, Lakovic, Smodis and Lorbek. Slokar also hasn't played (foot injury).

By then, the Slovenians had grounded the Ambassadors, who had only six days of practice and had to play without its top star, the D-League Most Valuable Player (MVP) Randy Livingston due to the player's personal reasons.
    What a ing sorry excuse...

By the way, is Rick Rickert same scrub who used to play for Krka few year ago (Minnesota's pick)?

What lost the game for us? Were we bad or were they just awesome?

We were bad. That's all. They killed us with their outside shooting, we killed us with uninspired offense.

Well, they weren't bad at all. They played great defense and were stronger inside.

Training back in Slovenia next week and then a tournament in France August 10-12 with SLO, France, Greece, and Serbia-- some good teams.

After that more training in SLO and then a tournament in Greece August 20-22 with SLO, Greece, Italy, and Lithuania-- another good test.

    hvala lepa for the info.

The France tournament falls on my birthday.
Last year Slovenia lost to Argentina on my birthday so they owe me this win.

Money or lack thereof, most unfortunately.

My friend is going on a much abbreviated version of our back packing trip but with her sister.

Slovenia is still my number one destination choice; as soon as I have the funds, I'm there.
