I will say this... no one rearrages/rewrites/re-emphasizes/twists quotes while arguing with each other more than whottt or timvp do. They've got that technique down to an art.
All I know is their arguments are as annoying as because most of the time neither one are making sense or a valid argument about anything anyone cares about.

timvp was actually ahead of the curve. He said Horry needed to rebound better to play better. Horry started to rebound better and played much, much better.
The only thing Barry AKA the Human Mannequin has owned in the last couple years in the Holt's checkbook. He turned out to be a bust of a signing while you were his biggest fan. Congrats, I guess.

I've been an Oberto fan since back when you still lived in Dallas. I wanted him to start in '05-06. (Well, actually, I wanted him instead of Rasho back in 2003. I first wanted the Spurs to sign him back when I saw him play for Argentina in 2000. )
I called him out this year for sleep walking through the regular season ... which he did.
I also called him having a big playoffs because of his history of playing big in big games. Back then, you scoffed at that idea and kept fantasizing about Elson's one good play every fourth game.
I've been wrong plenty. However, none of those items above were times where I was wrong.

I think they are both good but I also don't think either of them are always the best matchup. You took that to mean a lack of support on my part for Oberto and that just isn't the case.No comment needed.

Uh, what were Mercer and Heal going to do? Mercer wasn't a three-point shooter. Phil Jackson's plan was to give up threes ... which Mercer doesn't shoot.
And Heal was a joke of an addition to the roster. It was basically just a favor to Brett Brown. Heal wasn't and never has been an NBA quality player. Your fascination by him is amazing after all these years.
The Spurs could have had any decent backup swing in his place and still won their last two championships. Don't kid yourself.

More regular season smack. I know you aren't talking about the playoffs since Devin is the Spurs' all-time three-point percentage leader in the playoffs.
