Alright...well I may have to reconsider my stance then...but every gay dude I've ever discussed the character with has hated Superman and considered him boring, lame and unoriginal...
But I still say the majority of them like Batman better...I bet if you conduct a poll you'll find out I'm right.

Comics writers are are virtually interhchangeable with screenwriters these days..they win Hugo awards.
It's sciencefiction...a legitimate and valid literary genre, the best genre in fact...by far. IMO...way more interesting than drama ...men that like drama are s IMO.

I never claimed to like Superman better. I said that I knew gay men who were comic book fans and loved Superman, which I do.

And I'm ing right about the Superman thing too...they may pay lipservice to liking Superman in the grand scheme of things...but they are ultimately Batman fans when push comes to shove. They only like Superman because they want to turn him gay...not because they accept him and what he stands for.

I don't like Batman, though, not even a little. Spiderman is pretty cool, however.
