Yeah, I'd much rather talk about annoying moms and their ugly ass offspring.
Having children isn't that much of an accomplishment, IMO.

Being able to let them live to reach their teens is a major one.![]()
Preach it, sistah!
eh ... Caitlin's about 4 months away, and I'm not sure she's going to make it.![]()
Raising decent, productive people is an accomplishment and one many parents struggle to achieve.
It's that air of superiority by having a child that is usually only matched by one getting married. And the mindless banter about it that goes on and on and on.
It's irritating and rather pathetic.
Nobody cares.
Somebody sounds disgruntled.
Then scroll disguntled if its really that big of a chore![]()
At least you're a guy. You can get away with that at ude a bit easier.
When I announce that I'm neither overly impressed with the spawn of others, nor have any intention of breeding any myself, I've had other women look at me as if they'll soon rip out my womb because I'm not worthy of having it.
Honestly, you seem like a decent guy and probably not as dumb as your posts indicate.
Where in my posts would you find me talking about someone with a teenage son/daughter or this teenage son/mother in particular?
You did read the thread le before you clicked on it, right? Did you just assume she was kidding about this being a thread about her kid?![]()
None, why do you feel the need to come into someone else's and complain about it though?
If you don't like it, don't read it.
Thats what I do with threads on subjects I don't like. Its honestly not that tough.
Well personally I think the world should be greatful!!!
Another thing, Katy saying its disturbing that Duncan has made a connection. All I took by that was that shes made a connection and made some good friends.
LIke I think alot of us here have, like you Katy.
How is that any different?
Yeah, I know what this thread was about.
Since when do threads in here stay on point after one page, let alone four?
I have no problem with that and think its cool and thats your right.
If you were to come in and say something to the person that made the thread like "I dont care why are you posting it" thats when i would have the problem.
More power to ya cucking![]()
I don't think that's what happened, though. As someone who has read the entire thread, I think his comments seemed to develop pretty organically from the conversation that had already started about the bond between a new parent and their infant children.
Agree to disagree, it seemed like he was going out of his way to say "I don't care what your kid did"
Shocking, I know .. but it happens from time to time.
i think i took a wrong turn at albuquerque
Never said I didn't like this thread or that it wasn't an accomplishment to have a child get accepted into college.
Do I have to start a thread for every thought that pops into my head?
And if you don't like what I post, why do you respond to it? Shouldn't you just scroll as well? A bit hypocritical, wouldn't you say?
Good interpertation.

I don't like someone coming into a thread on a certain subject and exerting a "I hate when people talk about this" thing.
You see the subject, you know what they are talking about, why not just avoid it?
Not hypocritical at all.
I wasn't saying that at all, even though I don't care what her kid did. No offense, just being honest.
Neither do 99% of the people who posted in here.
I could point out that the initial comment(s) was nowhere near as disruptive to this thread as the resulting freak out, but I'm sure that would just be an exercise in futility.
