    George Mason?!

You should put Ohio State and Oregon on there though.
Obviously I was joking about George Mason, which I'm sure you understood, but CaptMike doesn't know what sarcasm means.

I did forget Ohio State, which was my bad. I dropped Oregon because their fans lept from "rapid" to "disgraceful" with their treatment of Kevin Love this year (even Ernie Kent said so), which is why the job isn't as "appealing."

I didn't put Syracuse on there because they wouldn't have won 10 ing games without Gerry McNamara in 2006.

I can't believe Mike didn't quote the other "valuable" list that included Utah and Navy above Oklahoma State.

Forbes makes a list... I made a list... I think mine is right.

You left off San Francisco, who had back-to-back les in the fifties, ten years after Oklahoma A&M's pair of les. By the way, here's the team picture of your '45 Aggies.

damn, that looks like a small Texas town's high school team today. People are looking older younger and younger these days.

I like how every team Mike listed with 2 les won theirs after his team won two in the 40s.

When Self says no, maybe we can get a really good coach, like Turgeon.

I love that Mike made this comment when she still thought that Self was going to accept a 15 year contract.

I enjoy reveling in the collapse of Mike's ego... except it will never collapse because he'll just come on here and call us "aggrots" and stupid and not defend himself.

Hey, at least it'll be thorough. Supposedly Holder flew to Tennessee this morning. Don't know if it was Knoxville or Memphis.

I've just made a few observations:

CaptMike flaunts two national les from the 40s, yet rips on A&M for a 1939 football championship.

You're not getting Bruce Pearl or John Calipari.

This thread is identical to the thread Brutalis created last year re: Arkansas coacing search thread. This pretty much confirms that both Oklahoma State and Arkansas fans are in the same mold, except Fayetteville is a slightly better town with hotter girls.

"But at least it will be thorough." It has to be because everybody from Tony Bennett to Bill Self is going to turn you down until maybe Coach Fran says yes.

You be the judge (at least on the girls - Fayetteville vs. Stillwater is an argument I'm ill-equipped to handle).

Sources: Ford likely to succeed Sutton at Oklahoma State

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    ESPN.com news services

Multiple sources have confirmed that barring unforeseen cir stances, Massachusetts coach Travis Ford is expected to be named the new head coach at Oklahoma State, ESPN's Doug Gottlieb reported.

Ford, who reached a new deal on a contract at UMass less than a week ago, planned to meet with the UMass team in Amherst on Wednesday, Gottlieb reported.

A week ago, at the Minutemen's end-of-season banquet, UMass athletic director John McCutcheon announced Ford, who had just turned down an offer from Providence, would be staying and had reached a new deal, but would not discuss its terms.

Ford led UMass to the NIT championship game this past season, where the team lost to Ohio State. He is 62-35 in three seasons at UMass.

Ford was also named as a candidate for the LSU opening, but he withdrew his name from consideration. The Tigers hired Trent Johnson on Friday.

Sean Sutton resigned from Oklahoma State after going 39-29 in two seasons. The Cowboys failed to reach the NCAA tournament in 2007 and 2008.
