Go Warriors!! .... again!
Look Nick you seem like a nice guy, but honestly you don't know the 1st thing about Laker fans. Yes there are a lot of bandwagon Laker fans, it happens when you are the best franchise in the NBA, but there are FAR more diehard Laker fans that have been with the franchise in all of the down years. Our attendance is perhaps the best in the league because this city LOVES basketball period. We don't have a football team, the Dodgers suck, and nobody watches hockey so this is as good as it gets for us.
This "smugness" that you perceive is due to the fact that Laker fans are used to winning. They aren't happy to see their team just make the playoffs like Warrior fans. For Laker fans, the goal is a championship. Warrior fans, OTOH, would be happy just to make the playoffs and get out of the 1st round again.

Yes, I came up with the word about 6 yrs ago, I was walking on dirt road with a friend, incredibly stoned.
That's a 3-2 road record against 5 playoffs teams without the big fellas. The Lakers are on a mission. Should be smooth sailing from here on out!
