Actually considering this Laker team wasn't expected to even make the playoffs I think reaching the NBA Finals is quite an accomplishment. As a Laker fan, I'm very proud of what they have accomplished. If anything, they have wildly overachieved.
It's very rare for a team to go from 1st round fodder straight to winning a championship. You gotta take your lumps in the playoffs before you make the push to win it all. The Lakers are a very young team, and the experience they are getting now will no doubt make them stronger next year. My expectations next season are nothing less than a championship. If they can't get it done with a healthy Bynum and a full season together I'll be very disappointed. In fact anything less than 2 championships in the next 5 seasons will be a disappointment IMHO.
