Future Spur Jake Laravia going to SAC. Kangz fans are going to really hate us when he has a big second half of the season and then we steal him this summer.
Gonna be a whole lot of buyouts after today
scott dying inside rn
Anyone starting a buyout market thread?![]()
Memphis paying a pick so they can create flexibility to re-sign Aldama.
Wonder if Memphis has something big in the works?
Warriors legend James Wiseman traded to Toronto
Just a salary dump
It just sets up more heartbreak for SAC fans when he averages 12/6 to close out the year and the Kangz can't legally pay him and we swoop in with the 3/36 this summer![]()
Might be to free up minutes for GG Jackson to really play full time
Might actually happen tbh. I remember the Spurs being high on him during the draft process.
Guess two Washington early 2nds is close to a Memphis late 1st.
It's Beale Street and braving it to go out to Graceland. Otherwise, an ugly disaster of a city.
Silver should extend the deadline. This has been wild.
How we not get a backup center?
Brian probably won't make another trade until 2032
So Sean Marks overplayed his hand with Cam Johnson? Probably will wrap him in wool and try again in the summer.
Chicago also failed to trade Vuc and White. Guess they aren't going full tank mode.
Bobby Marks saying that the Smart move will give MEM enough room this offseason to renegotiate and extend JJJ this summer (so they aren't completely reliant on him making All NBA)
I don't normally watch it but watched it a couple of days ago after the Doncic trade, it seems like the crew on Gil's Arena was saying Memphis can't sustain multiple max/supermax contacts and that they'd have to leave Memphis and move the team. They were saying they should move the team to Nashville. Would Nashville have a bigger market there?
I didn't realize Memphis was that bad.

It’s literally the worst city in the country. There is no nice part of the city. Just one giant ghetto. Nashville would be a great market for the Grizzlies. Even though it’s become an overpriced show of a city, it’s still leagues better than Memphis. Players love Nashville.
Now that you mention it, all the crew GIL's Arena said they love Nashville. Why do the players like it so much? Isn't it the country music capital (not that I have anything against that type of music, but I thought most NBA players wouldn't be into that)? Is there a lot to do/good nightlife in Nashville? Again, I don't know much about the city, happy to be educated.
I really did not know Memphis was that bad. Why did the NBA move the Grizzlies there from Vancouver if it's that bad? Isn't Vancouver one of the most beautiful cities? Memphis sounds terrible.
The problem with Memphis is it joins the worst of Mississippi and Tennessee
Just realized this is Schroder’s 12th season
Remember that movie 12 years a slave?![]()
