Poodle for a #8 lotto selection= Fantastic no matter the draft.
I love the way this lottery ended up... but picks #4 and #8 are kind of danger zones honestly
Going back the last 15 years (note, this just cuts off Russ at #4 in 2008), using my proprietary Hit, Meh, LOL rankings (not rating 23 and 22 yet, still too early too tell)

WE are not a storied franchise you little s. we were. tabula rasa like the burn it down crew demanded. Draft savvy is easy when you plan off guys like duncan and gionbili who both came into the league at later stages than victor or most rookies these days. Victor year 4 will make role players and draft picks look better, he's not there yet. or you hope.
Show us the top eight positions over that time period? I’d love to see how the other top 8 slots fair…
Sir, we ARE still a storied franchise. Anyone that disagrees may want to brush up on the definition of what a storied franchise mean
Custom research requests start at $300/hr. Otherwise, you can do your own research.
Waited a year too long and let Anunoby's trade value crater.
Not necessary. Just thought 4 & 8 is no different vs 3 through 10. Enjoy the ride bud…..
After an extensive 15 minute research on www.statmuse.com, pick 6 has also been a volatile selection.
Boom, you just saved $75
I thought the purpose of this thread was now strictly to make fun of TOR for tanking unsuccessfully HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!
Why so low for Obi?
I'm haven't been a frequent Indy watcher. However in the 2 playoff games i've seen he's been solid.
My MEH for Obi based on his team with the team who drafted him. 7.9ppg, 3.0 rpg in three seasons. Not what you want to see from your #8 pick. Also, Knicks traded him for 2028 and 2029 second round picks.
He's having a nice playoffs, but still only averaging 12/5. Not exactly lighting the world on fire. I'd be interested in him as a RFA, but not for more than the MLE. Firmly MEH territory (might even be a LOL if you are looking at it from NYK POV)
True indeed.
In only 20 minutes.
That's very good.
I think Amen Thompson is a hit for sure. He was playing some great ball the last 20 games of the season and I'd take him over anyone in this draft. Also two of the LOL were Phoenix picks which skews the results.
Obi's 18th and 12th in scoring / rebounds per minute in 2024 playoffs.
Doing 60% fgs with 54% on threes vs NYK. But ya he's not gonna keep that pace up.
Not sure why he gets limited to 20 minutes but assume Jim Carrey knows what he's doing.
I actually like Toppin and like I said think he could be a RFA target, but I don't think he can play starting PF. He's an anemic rebounder. His offensive game is better than Sochan's, and would love for him to come in and give Jeremy real compe ion but he his rebounding is pathetic. Not sure how he is as a defender.
If 4 & 8 are danger zones then, blow it up: Kevin Tran at 4, Fredette Jimmer at 8!!!
Do it Spurs, do it, come to terms!!!
My dream is Buz and Topic. And then re-sign Chip. Bc if these two mofos learn how to shoot then we will be set as a team going forward
why would he leave okc?
they would get plenty of open shots with every defender sagging off of them, I tell you that
Very true. The only reason why I like Dilly more than Topic is bc the dude can shoot. We don’t need a Rubio at the point. But if we think we can teach him then I say go for it
