During these weekly meetings, the federal law enforcement agencies communicated that they expected "hack-and-leak operations" by state actors might occur in the period shortly before the 2020 presidential election, likely in October. I was told in these meetings that the intelligence community expected that individuals associated with political campaigns would be subject to hacking attacks and that material obtained through those hacking attacks would likely be disseminated over social media platforms, including Twitter. These expectations ofhack-and-leak operations were discussed throughout 2020. I also learned in these meetings that there were rumors that a hack-and-leak operation would involve Hunter Biden.

no need to be sorry. the FBI never mentioned the laptop story. they never instructed twitter to suppress anything. and taibbi said despite going through everything (presumably which included communications from LOE), he found NO evidence of any government involvement in the laptop story

Taibbi didn’t get to go through everything. What a ridiculous claim. Baker inserted himself into the vetting process. Did Taibbi post anything mentioning the FBI? No. Do you think there wasn’t a single email from any Twitter employee about their weekly meetings with the FBI? Of course there were. Taibbi didn’t receive everything. Again, your claims are ridiculous. We don’t know what the FBI did or didn’t say because Taibbi didn’t receive everything. Now that Baker has been fired we might see more, including emails about the weekly FBI meetings.

For all the alleged conspiracies and "wrongdoing" the FBI did during the whole 2016 election (according to trump s, and ONLY trump s) and after both the OIG and a special counsel in Durham took a deep look at it, we have a grand total of 1 FBI lawyer pleading guilty for a 'crime' that didn't even land him in jail.
