"no evidence of any government involvement"
no evidence of any involvement vs had zero role. if you want to pick apart those semantic differences, be my guest
10. Since 2018, I have had regular meetings with the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Department o f Homeland Security, the FBI, and industry peers regarding election security.
11. During these weekly meetings, the federal law enforcement agencies communicated that they expected "hack-and-leak operations" by state actors might occur in the period shortly before the 2020 presidential election, likely in October. I was told in these meetings that the intelligence community expected that individuals associated with political campaigns would be subject to hacking attacks and that material obtained through those hacking attacks would likely be disseminated over social media platforms, including Twitter. These expectations ofhack-and-leak operations were discussed throughout 2020. I also learned in these meetings that there were rumors that a hack-and-leak operation would involve Hunter Biden.

love how the response to Taibbi not find the smoking gun people wanted is "but theres no way he could have actually looked through everything!
"
You said the FBI had no role, the Global Head of Trust & Safety testified there was FBI involvement. Roth’s deposition was not in the Twitter files. I’m sorry this is happening to you.
no need to be sorry. the FBI never mentioned the laptop story. they never instructed twitter to suppress anything. and taibbi said despite going through everything (presumably which included communications from LOE), he found NO evidence of any government involvement in the laptop story
but the biden campaign did ask them to remove some picks
You’re moving the goalposts again.
The Global Head of Trust & Safety testified the FBI had a role in it.
Taibbi didn’t get to go through everything. What a ridiculous claim. Baker inserted himself into the vetting process. Did Taibbi post anything mentioning the FBI? No. Do you think there wasn’t a single email from any Twitter employee about their weekly meetings with the FBI? Of course there were. Taibbi didn’t receive everything. Again, your claims are ridiculous. We don’t know what the FBI did or didn’t say because Taibbi didn’t receive everything. Now that Baker has been fired we might see more, including emails about the weekly FBI meetings.
no goalpost move. i can make separate, related claims in the same conversation. its not replacing a previous claim. i'm ok with going with Taibbi's own quote on this
what did the global head of trust and safety say that the FBI did about the laptop story. did the FBI even discuss the laptop story? did the FBI ever instruct twitter to suppress anything?
The Global Head of Trust & Safety testified the FBI had a role in it.
he specifically excluded "government" involvement. FBI would fall under that. who else would he be referring to, Trump's white house trying to suppress the laptop story?

any evidence Baker actually withheld anything material from Taibbi in this process?
Do you?
Because that's what we were discussing here before you started with the 'connect the dots' again?
Still not sure what's laughable about it. The FBI has done a tremendous job, especially when it comes to election integrity.
Helped Mueller, Durham in their investigations, testified for both. Great work all around.
Like what? I mean, how many cases does the FBI handles every year? How many ups in that time?
Lots of guessing there... doesn't Musk own that company and can release anything he wants?
Exactly.... but "I wanna believe"![]()
He just has to think it and they’re declassified!
Default to J Edgar and abuse of power.
Yup, it is more of TSA trying to connect the Rorschach Test dots and later claim that he provided tons of evidence, tbh.
For all the alleged conspiracies and "wrongdoing" the FBI did during the whole 2016 election (according to trump s, and ONLY trump s) and after both the OIG and a special counsel in Durham took a deep look at it, we have a grand total of 1 FBI lawyer pleading guilty for a 'crime' that didn't even land him in jail.
I mean, holy the FBI is good.
and they kept a really tight ship on the trump Russia investigation. Had been ongoing for several months prior to the election but nobody heard about it until after the election
totally principle-free.
it's will to power all the way down.
"insurance policy"
connect the dOTs
TSA always scours the internets for a blog to give him the most sinister narrative to pimp here.
It happens literally every time.
conservativetreehouse was a good one for a while
