@DevinWilliams_1: Arizona St, Texas, Nebraska, & Baylor all are on my list to visit this summer and camp.
2016 QB Devin Williams of Fort Worth, Texas.
RB Derrius Guice of Catholic (La.) has committed to LSU. Guice had Texas among his last 4.

Over on 24/7 Dylan Moses father said late last night that Dylan, Malik Antoine and a "surprise camper" made it safely to Austin. I wonder who the surprise camper is? To my knowledge the only other University Lab guys that Texas are recruiting is RB Nicholas Brossette and Florida commit CB Tre Jackson.
Edit:
I have no idea who the third kid is. I went through University Labs Hudl page, the tallest guy they have heights on is 6'3 and the guy on the far right is about 6'5 if Moses' 6'2 is correct.

Update on OL Garrett Thomas of Many, La.
Offensive line coach Joe Wickline is in search of two more players up front he can add in this year’s class. One of the top tackle prospects in the country made his way to Austin yesterday to spend time with not only Joe Wickline but head coach Charlie Strong.
Garrett Thomas checks in at 6-foot-6, 310-pounds from Many (LA) with offers from Auburn, Ole Miss,Oklahoma and Texas to name a few. This past weekend Thomas took his girlfriend, his sister, his sisters boyfriend and his mother to visit with the Texas coaching staff.
”I really enjoyed it,” Garrett Thomas said. “It ended up being a pretty good day. We left pretty early to get up there and meet all of the coaches and had a big introduction with all of them. Coach Wickline was with us just about all day on the tour and saw all of the facilities, weight room and everything. The tour of the school and stadium was real good. It was just a real good day.”
Coach Wickline would like to land two more players on the offensive line and Thomas is one of them.
”Coach Wickline told me he was really impressed with me,” Thomas said. “He likes me at offensive tackle but told me if he needed me to play inside I could play guard. I really enjoyed visiting with him. We talked a lot about schemes and his philosophy and he really impressed me and is a very personable guy.”
As nicely as things went for Thomas, they were equally as impressive for his mother.
”We talked with coach Strong for a while,” Thomas said. “He really impressed us and he told me academics would always be first at Texas. He told me I would be a great fit because I am going to major in petroleum engineering and Texas has all the resources to help me get through it. My mom was really impressed. Charlie Strong said that if football and classes interfered with each other that the class would come first and that was the first time my mom has ever heard that.”
Keep an eye on Ole Miss, Oklahoma and Texas for Garrett Thomas.
Update on OL Madison Akamnonu of Arlington, Tx.
The No. 21 ranked offensive tackle in the country took a one-day unofficial visit to the University of Texas on Friday. The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Madison Akamnonu checks in from Arlington (TX) Bowie high school and liked what he and his family heard in Austin.
Scout.com recently moved Madison Akamnonu to the elite four-star status. Akamnonu and his family visited Austin this weekend and they were thoroughly impressed with the message.
”My mom, dad and little brother,” Madison Akamnonu responded when asked who made the unofficial visit with him earlier today.
Offensive line coach Joe Wickline has made the four-star offensive tackle a top priority and he relayed that message again today in person.
”He talked to me about playing left tackle,” Akamnonu said. “He showed me a few offensive line tips and the run and pass blocking. I felt comfortable around him, which was a bonus. Speaking with coach [Charlie] Strong and the coaching staff was a big part also. Me and my family really liked him and he seemed fun and serious when the time called for it.”
I did a little research on the "surprise visitor" and came back to something I saw yesterday. Dylan Moses is the leader of a group that calls itself for 17DreamTeam. It is a bunch of the (early) top rated players in the country for the 2017 class that talks about going to the same college. Apparently the surprise visitor is DeAngelo Gibbs, who is a member of this group. Outside of Dylan Moses the groups consists of:

Why is anyone worried about what Sumlin is doing? Dude couldn't win with Manziel nor Keenum.
I don't know the guy and with little more than 2K followers, I doubt he is an interesting guy. Nonetheless.
I guess he thinks Coach Strong's focud should be helping out guys that don't have a chance to play for UT and accommodating press? Here I thought a UT camp should be to help staff identify players to play for UT and to recruit.
Really, though, I've never seen anyone in the media praise someone for shutting the media out. It's in their interest to and moan when a player won't speak to the press or when coaches tell them to GTFO. All the kids have to do is tweet or instagram something and everyone will know they were there — they don't need the media's help.

When I went to Penn State, TCU, and Baylor in 2009 for camps we walked everywhere... I don't get what the problem is. If he can't handle that then he might as well not come to UT, with all of strongs rules
JUCO TE Andrew Davis of Iowa Western CC has committed to Illinois.
Mack Brown has reached a deal with ESPN to be a studio analyst:

that will be cool. i wonder if he will clap his hands alot...(but i really do think he will be a nice addition).
Baylor has picked up their first 2016 commitment in QB Zach Smith of Grandview.
He was offered at their camp yesterday above 2016 QB Brennen Wooten and 2016 QB Josh White.

Too soon for me to be seeing him on television.
I hope he's not featured on College GameDay or a show I really enjoy watching on Saturdays.
Per OrangeBloods, 2016 RB Devwah Whaley of Beaumont Central was not in attendance yesterday, so that's why we haven't heard anything on him. He's supposed to be in Austin for the June 8th camp.
by the way, denley from steele looked great at the cibolo steel spring game. he is very shifty and explodes into the backfield. considering how the defense dominated the game i was very impressed with denley's performance. on the defensive side mark jackson created havoc in the backfield but LB marquee allison dominated. he is very quick and just covers the field so well. also, it appears that the steele/desoto game will be aired on ESPN so that will be a good chance to check out not only the steele players but also several desoto prospects.

@JP_OT2016: #blessed just recieved my 11th offer from the University of Texas! #longhorns #hookem #horns
2016 OT JP Urquidez of Copperas Cove, Tx.
He has always been a PR pro, so I suspect he will do well in broadcasting.
Rumor on Twitter, originally from HornSports, is that Blinn QB Logan Vinklarek has committed to Texas.

24/7 saying Vinklarek will be a preferred walk-on.
