Palin Endorsement Widens Trump’s Lead Among Idiots
Got to love it.

Track Palin, 26, was arrested late on Monday night after authorities responded to a domestic disturbance call at a home in Wasilla, Alaska, police said in a statement.
"An investigation revealed Track Palin had committed a domestic violence assault on a female, interfered with her ability to report a crime of domestic violence and possessed a firearm while intoxicated," the statement said.

LOL what does Palin bring to the table? She doesn't have that many supporters. Actually she has none so this gains Trump nothing.
It's all about Iowa. The supporters she does have are mainly evangelicals and it's evangelicals keeping Cruz in contention in Iowa. If the polls are to be believed then Trump is sure to win NH and SC. So if he skims enough away from Cruz with Palins help and wins Iowa as well then he's probably locked up the nomination.

Well, that trailer trash knowingly brought a Down's Syndrome child into the world and didn't take the easy way out and abort it. That is frightening, takes courage and a lot of work.

Yes, an older woman has a higher chance, but it happens to young women too. My neighbor's second child (in her twenties) has Down Syndrome - those tend to be a big shock as they don't check at that age.

Absolutely. When a woman of means who has access to the best medical care chooses to raise a special child she is courageous and hard working. Goes to show how cowardly and lazy those skanks are who live in less advantageous conditions and would rather take the "easy way out" than raise a special needs child.

Another GOP pundit eyes third-party movement

For months, Republicans were afraid Trump would leave the GOP and run as a third-party candidate.

But what if Trump wins the GOP nomination, and some Republicans create a third party of their own?

==============

About a month ago, the Weekly Standard’s Bill Kristol raised the prospect of creating a new party to compete against Republicans if Donald Trump is the GOP’s nominee. Pressed on his plans, Kristol said he’s “semi-serious,” adding, “[I]f Trump were to be the nominee, I’d be open to a new party, probably for 2016 only.”

Yesterday, Hugh Hewitt spoke with the Washington Post’s George Will, a prominent Republican pundit in his own right, who said something similar about what would happen if Trump wins the GOP nomination.

“[Y]ou would also figure that there would be movement to have a third-party candidate because if the election is Hillary Clinton against Donald Trump, this will be the first election since God knows when, there was no real conservative candidate. […]

“[In 1964] I cast my vote for Barry Goldwater who valued that classic, creative defeat of his because he took the Republican Party and said, ‘Henceforth it will be a conservative party.’ Those of us who feel that way are not about to sit idly and see the Republican Party which was saved by William Howard Taft to 1912 for conservatism that was reclaimed by Barry Goldwater for conservatism, we’re not going to let it disappear in 2016.”

As a rule, it’s unusual to hear prominent national media figures be quite this open about their allegiance to a political party, using words like “us” and “we” to describe Republicans.

But what does George Will think he’ll be able to do, exactly? He’s “not going to let” true Republicanism suffer at the hands of Trump, and he refuses to “sit idly by,” but how does he intend to prevent it?

It seems awfully likely that Republicans like Will and Kristol may have grand ambitions about a third party, which would bravely run a real GOP candidate against the official GOP candidate, but the logistics of such an idea, among other things, make this little more than a fantasy of frustrated insiders.

The broader cir stances, though, are increasingly amusing. For months, the fear among Republicans was that Trump would decide he’d been treated “unfairly” and would therefore run as an independent.

Little did we know we’d be hearing talk from inside-the-Beltway Republicans about launching a third-party effort against Trump.

not necessarily. They will realized that Trump will slaughtered by Bernie or Hillary, handing the WH to the Dems for another 8 years, and not bother to waste their stamp or time voting.

You're kidding yourself. Trump is not going to get slaughtered. And once he wins the nomination, then he will really gain momentum. Fact is he can outspend hillary or bernie. His friend Carl Icahn even has $150M sitting in a superpac ready to take things to another level.

What Sarah Palin Really Wants From Her Donald Trump Endorsement

Does the former Alaska governor and 2008 vice presidential candidate want anything in return?

Most likely, yes — Palin, who popularized the term “drill, baby, drill,” has said
she’d like to be Trump’s Secretary of Energy.

And Trump has said he’d be willing to give Palin a position in his cabinet, should he be elected president.

You're going to see record turnout for the GOP and a record number of older people flipping to Trump. Hillary has trust issues and democrats are NOT excited about her. Look at me, I am a life long democrat who voted for Obama and I'm flipping for the first time ever. Voting for Hillary is like voting for a less intelligent, less trustworthy and more corporate version of Obama... How exciting!!!

Sarah Palin blames her son’s domestic violence arrest on Obam

Former Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin suggested Wednesday that President Barack Obama was to blame for the arrest of her son Track on domestic violence charges.
Palin noted during a political rally in Tulsa that her 26-year-old son had served in Iraq. “My son, like so many others, they come back a bit different. They come back hardened,” she remarked in a video published by Right Wing Watch.

Palin said her son suffered from post-traumatic stress disorder, and that Obama had made his situation worse by allegedly disrespecting veterans.

(lots of Palin word salad )

“So when my own son is going through what he goes through coming back, I can certainly relate with other families who kind of feel these ramifications of some PTSD and some of the woundedness that our soldiers do return with, and it makes me realize more than ever, it is now or never for the sake of America’s finest that we’ll have that commander in chief who will respect them and honor them,”

Obama's budget for the VA is up $5.2B. We'll see if Repug assholes actually spend it.

Last night, Donald Trump took credit for the rhetoric, saying he “suggested” to Palin that she talk about the issue.

As Rachel noted on Twitter late yesterday, some veterans were not pleased with Palin’s rhetoric.

Don’t blame President Obama for the PTSD that Sarah Palin claims her oldest son is battling.

That was the message Wednesday from the head of a New York City-based veteran’s organization that has fought for years to get Iraq and Afghanistan war vets help with their post traumatic stress disorder.

“It’s not President Obama’s fault that Sarah Palin’s son has PTSD,” said Paul Rieckhoff, who heads Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). “PTSD is a very serious problem, a complicated mental health injury and I would be extremely reluctant to blame any one person in particular…. I hope this doesn’t become a portable chew toy in a political campaign,” he said.

It’s quite simple: bringing attention to PTSD is worthwhile; using PTSD as some of partisan cudgel to take cheap shots at the president is not.

For that matter, the idea that the Obama administration has somehow been lax in helping veterans returning with PTSD is plainly wrong. There’s ample evidence pointing in the opposite direction, with the White House expanding treatment options several times over the course of several years.

In other words, this line of attack isn’t just ugly; it’s also untrue.

Biggest elephant in the room, the context and history Repugs depend on 10Ms of Americans are to be stupid to remember:

[B]Palin Endorsement Widens Trump’s Lead Among Idiots
While Trump was previously thought to have a lock on the idiot vote heading into the Iowa caucuses, a recent surge by Senator Ted Cruz, of Texas, has put the idiots back in play.

Cruz has worked tirelessly in recent weeks to tailor his message to undecided idiots, even revamping his stump speech to rid it of two-syllable words.

“That’s why Palin supporting Trump and not Cruz is such a win for us,” the Trump aide said. “She’s been out of politics for awhile, but she still has idiot cred.”

The aide said that no one should be surprised by the bond between Palin and Trump. “They’re both reality-show hosts,” he said. “And by lowering the bar in 2008, Palin singlehandedly made Trump’s candidacy possible.”

But even as the Trump campaign staffers celebrate the Palin endorsement, they recognize that they still have their work cut out for them to secure victory in Iowa. “Getting the idiots to support Trump is only half the battle,” the aide said. “Now we have to make sure that they make it to the caucuses without getting lost on the way.
