Wow I never thought I'd see Spurs fan sink this low. Katrina smack??? That is as pathetic as it gets. Way worse than anything I've seen from even Suns fans.

Cool, maybe then you'll take your shortbus ass to the highway.

Does anyone know what exactly is wrong with Tim? I heard earlier in the broadcast that he was getting some IV, but I', not sure if they were talking about the game in NO or if this is recent.
was playing with a fever in games 1 and 2 and had only recently recovered from it.

Yeah he didn't totally look 100% tonight, but I tell ya what, Manu sure as did.

Manu is gettin healthier Hornet fan, you best be scared.
I didn't see the whole game, but I saw him limping a little after he saved that loose ball. I know he was awesome in Game 3, but can anyone tell me how he looked like after that incident? Then again, Pop wouldn't have played him 39 minutes if it were that serious.

Yeah Manu definitely tweaked something tonight. But it's the playoffs, everyone is banged up. To succeed, everyone just needs to keep playing through bumps, bruises, tweaks, pulls, illness, whatever.

I hope it was just nothing new, and he continues to be a warrior into game 4... Hasn't he done that in every game? Grimaced at one point in a game?

    +1

Good second half...finally...still gotta tie this series up, though...Game 4 is basically the series, folks...TD is getting over the flu, and the Spurs are banged up, so that extra day off is a good thing...rest up, guys...win on Sunday night and the Hornets will start to doubt, and the Spurs will roll to the WCF...book it!

so if the Spurs will advance, what teamwill you be rooting for-the Spurs or the Lakers? There's a Slovenian 3-pointer on that team.

Yea alot of spurs fans on this board are showing their true colors. Some are classy, but a good bit are not.

    Observations from Game 3:

1.) Parker and Ginobli had very good games and should be commended for keeping SA in the game and this series....for now.

2.) However, Chris Paul took his game to an entirely different level last night. He is without a doubt the best point guard in the league and he showed it with every dazzling play. At one point, ESPN cameras showed Tony Parker dribbling downcourt after one of Paul's baskets. He couldn't help but to shake his head is disbelief. CP3 is amazing.

3.) Hornets will make the adjustments and come out guns blazing in game 4. I think you'll see increased defensive pressure and better ball movement compared to game 3. CP3 is at his best when he's a facilitator, not a scorer. Coach Scott knows that and he'll do what's necessary to get this team ready to take this series back to N.O. with a 3-1 lead.

4.) Bowen played good defense on Peja last night. If he can continue to stick to Peja like that, that will change the series since Peja's shooting is key for us.

In conclusion, as a Hornets fan I can't honestly say I woke up this morning worried at all. Spurs are a great team, they're the champs, and deserve as much respect as the Bulls teams from the 90's. However, everyone expected the spurs to show more tenacity in game 3 and that's what we saw. Winning game 3 for the Hornets would've been "a cherry on top" so to speak. It was in essence a game 7 for them.

But the Hornets showed alot of tenacity and were in this game from beginning to end. I would be worried if we would've lost by 15+ pts but that wasn't the case. San Antonio is not a team built to win games with their offense and that's exactly what they did last night. They won't continue to make shots that are continuously contested the rest of this series. That's not the way this team was built.

    Peace

I dozed off in the 3rd, looks like the Spurs finally pulled it together in the 2nd half. That was a fun game to watch (the portion I was awake). Now you need to cheer for the Jazz to help extend the Lakers series.

I 100% agree with you. The Hornets took the Spurs desperation punch and stayed with them almost the entire game.....it's all about energy and intensity. If the Hornets can bring that same pressure as they did in Game 1 this is over in 5.

Not really, the longer this series goes the better it is for the Lakers. We want whoever comes out to be drained from a long 6-7 game series.

You are heading to Utah against a great home team, don't get so far ahead of yourself.

Was it as obvious to others as it was to me that the ESPN announcers at the game really, really wanted the Hornets to win? They kept saying things like, "No one has ever come back from being down 0-3!" and "The Hornets are going for the knockout punch!". They seemed really subdued and disappointed in the 4th as the Spurs pulled away.

To me, it was pretty obvious bias, because the normal inclination of a neutral sports fan is to root for the team that's behind.

And, my God, you'd think they arrived at the tomb and found the stone rolled back and Chris Paul zooming up to heaven. Look, he's really good, no doubt. But it is a bit early to be pulling out the "Greatest Point Guard in History" comparisons, yes? And why wouldn't Parker be just as much in that discussion as Paul? He's certainly accomplished more.

All I know is the female commentator was about to run out on the court and give Chris Paul the most ridiculous head of his young life. The mute button is my friend.
