Those reporters do nothing but report what they hear from their sources. We saw all throughout this fiasco that those sources are often full of too. In the end, all your doing most of the time is discussing something leaked by some random. Who is to say this guy isn't connected? He sure has dropped some interesting info lately. It's not a secret that I think a franchise loses a lot when the team can't keep its guys, many years of development, too many expectations...
