Ghana is starting to lose some respect
Man, I'm tired of watching bull fouls when people go down. These mother ers DIVE DIVE DIVE DIVE
Ghana is starting to lose some respect
Eye of the beholder....
Another issue is the fact that the US's superiority complex doesn't allow the sport to be embraced... that problem being of a systemic nature.
So are you saying the athletes in American Soccer are of the same caliber they are in any of our other pro sports?
Is that what you are saying?
And if not...who is preventing the top tier athletes from playing Soccer?
Yeah, right...
This team scores less than KEDA.
Man, say what you guys will about the US, but there is no way anyone can say they dive anywhere near as much as the ohter teams I've seen in the cup. that.
Props to Ghana. Thanks to the ref for ing us.
Hegamb...if our suriority complex was the issue...we wouldn't even field a soccer team.
No, you're right.
I've seen about five or six games of this Cup (2 U.S. games) and the U.S. doesn't dive nearly as much as some of the other countries.
Props to Ghana. I'm rooting for them now.
My solutions to fixing US Soccer =
1.Fire any coach that looks like his athletic background is in beerguzzling.
2.Get more black guys.
1. Props to Ghana and Good luck against Brazil
2. Football refs do up and they have in many games in the World Cup
3. US needs a known European coach
The #5 team in the FIFA ranking is out of compe ion...
Shocking.
Larry Brown is available.
Goodbye US&A.
That ref will be in the next Argentina game
Donovon sucked. Arena sucked. The ref sucked.
Hey ...
The US has won Two World Cups and Two Olympic Gold Medals in Soccer....We are also the defending Champs in Olympic Rugby.
What's Argentina's tally?![]()
Whottt's solutions for fixing US Soccer
#3. Threaten to kill the family members of all the players if they do not win.
Works for the rest of the world...
When was the last time you played compe ive soccer... not as a child?
Indeed the perspective element is there, I just don't believe that there is a 'wrong' or 'right' on this issue... You either like soccer, or you don't.
I like hockey even though I've never played it or watch it often, becuase I realize that what they do is hard as . Also, I'm 10x more a fan of the S.A. Spurs than of any soccer team out there irregardless of the fact that I'm 10x a better soccer player than a basketball one - go figure that being 5'-10'' is a disadvantage in basketball, but 'irrelevant' in soccer -- unless I were playing against midgets.
Nope... but not because they are incapable of it... The pool is simply smaller...
America's great athletes follow the same pattern as generations before them... a neutral systemic recursion... albeit one that happens to hurt US soccer.

They just had a tough tough tough draw this year...
Czech Republic is second on Fifa rank list. They are out to.![]()
i didn't know USA is the oldest team in WC, that could be a problem in the next WC.
Or we would just adopt the metric system like everybody else....
Mundane things like distances (miles vs. kilometers) or weight (lbs vs. kg) might not seem that different but when trying to reconcile those same units with pressures, energy, volumes, flux, etc... the U.S. system simply becomes innefficient.
I agree. Group E was just as difficult, if not more so, than the so-called Group of Death (Arg, Ned, SM, IC). I'm not making excuses, because our players showed great effort, especially in the Italy game.
Time for us to get a new coach, preferably one with European or South American experience. Better coaching might have made a difference here.
