Yeah, its nice to have her actually like playing games. But I'm glad we have a Wii, because we don't really usually like the same games. Add the PS3 we want to get and we'll have a console for the each of us(we have a son too). Nothing like spending time as a family in different rooms playing by ourselves.
I'm sure they eventually make it work, but then you're either stuck with playing GH3 with a wired RB guitar or playing RB with a GH3 guitar without the solo fret board. They always throw in a catch to make you want both.
Hopefully it could be a easy software fix available by updates on xbox live. I'm good, because I was planning on using the GH3 guitar as the bass for Rock Band. I still have 2 of the GH2 guitars for back ups too. But my fiancee is already saying she wants her own NEW guitar, so I might be getting another GH3 guitar and an extra RB guitar too.

I know a couple who are both hard core gamers and they've got a hugemongous TV with the consoles plugged into different inputs so that they can both play different games on different consoles at the same time with the picture-in-picture feature. Well, we do have a small flat screen for our son to play games on while we watch TV on the big set. We tried the PIP thing, but it was too distracting for both parties.
The most we've done is have the 360 on the flatscreen we have installed outside. That's our GH3 setup(more space). Then we have our son and his friends playing Wii on the huge TV in the living room. I'll have to figure out where the PS3 will go eventually.

Super Mario Galaxy looks like sheer lunacy. Nintendo is going to start churning out games that blow the compe ion away. It's going to be a crowded field of games for GotY this year.
World in Conflict, Galaxy, Halo 3, Team Fortress 2 (Orange Box), Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, Forza 2.... the field is freaking LOADED.

Is anyone here using a transfer kit? Let me know if you've had success, I'm having trouble.
Did you like Madden at first? I played Madden for like one minute after I bought it and wasn't impressed at all. I'm hooked on NBA2k8 right now. I've been really busy at work so I haven't played much.

2K8 is pretty impressive. operationsports.com has a guy who made a file for download of the opening day rosters, with all the current players and accurate FA. It'll be 10 times more complete than the roster download from 2K if or when it shows up. You might want to check it out, you need a memory pack and transfer kit to get it on the 360. The transfer kit is a though. I still haven't got mine to work.
There is also a file there with all of the classic rosters from previous championship teams. Taking a classic team or a bunch of classic teams into association could be loads of fun

wtf is a transfer kit...im all for this is someone gets this to work because for the past two or three years the roster updates havent come like they used too which really sucks ass
