God willing and your Picketwire don't rise, no.

Thread going to be dead in a couple of years so... ???? did I get it????
God willing and your Picketwire don't rise, no.
Meanwhile one of the coldest San Diego, Spring/Summer I can remember in 30 years. Can't even get a tan and it's almost June.
Exactly.
Extremes in both directions with the average temps go up.
Its really quite interesting that the science got this correct albeit not nearly as gradual as they thought. In fact its so accelerated if we were not around to witness it, it could look like some drastic cosmic event or plate tectonic disaster.
Also their predictions on which parts of the world would change the most and into what were scattered (this would have to be very, very tough to figure.)
And the red team is all about spending and the debt, hilarious contradiction. We are having to rebuild ports and seaside structures, move farming to different spots, ect... the little ant brain in us cant keep up.
Its not like we have not had this lesson before locally. London had to completely poison their air during and after the industrial revolution for people to say enough, rethink. So many local examples of the stupidity of profit now, fk the air and surroundings. This killed off civilizations. We dont learn very well.

ing exhausting that we're poised for a third summer in a row this hideous. Already have a heat advisory forecasting 112+ heat index today and could hit our first 100 of the season.
Can you imagine the hue & the cry?
Then how would me and Cosmic Cowboy get around?
Well, you 2 would apply for an exemption and you'd get it. A lot of people would get it. A veritable load.
Ugh 94 with a dewpoint of 74 sucks and it's not even 2PM
It's gonna be a nice, brisk 55 degrees and mostly sunny all weekend where we'll be this weekend. Gonna put some steelhead in the boat while enjoying the gorgeous Sequoias in the forest.
After last summer in San Antonio, I just absolutely loathe all hot summer weather even more. Would love to move permanently to Eureka or somewhere in Humboldt.
It wouldn't matter. People aren't supposed to rape children and/or every breathing human they have lust for, but that doesn't stop the rich and the famous from having islands dedicated solely to that.
Law doesn't apply to everyone.
Agreed, and when you go down that path of [selective law enforcement] you're doomed.
Another stupid comment from butt hurt loser Beta Blake. Still rent free in his little brain
However, glad to be leaving for the colorado house (driving) tomorrow. That heat dome in Mexico will make it nasty next week

you really can't help yourself, can you princess?
I do it because you are a jealous little and it bothers the out of you, Beta Blake. It gives me great pleasure that I am so deep in your head that you have to try and make some stupid comment every time I post.

That heat dome is making it incredible nasty now through Monday, but it's supposed to go a little west and allow what the news was calling a less hot front to come in Tuesday and drop us to the low to mid 90s.
102 forecast today so looks like we should hit our first 100 day of the year today. And ugh with a dewpoint of 75. I don't know what's worse, the early season 100s where you have heat indices 110-115 because the plants aren't all dead yet so they're respirating tons of water into the atmosphere plus the air is all ed from Mexican agricultural burning, or the mid July to mid August days where it's 101 at 11AM, doesn't drop below 100 again until 9PM, and the AC has to be going balls to the wall until after midnight. But at least heat indices don't usually get above 107 by then since all the plants are dead and the dewpoints drop into the mid 50s to low 60s in the daytime hours.
If we get a decent wind I still might be able to bike in the evening. Less humidity but higher temps.
I really need some sort of chart that takes wind into account because it definitely helps. Especially when I stop and drink. When you stop and there is no wind I immediately get totally soaked in my own body fluid. I have been reading about acclimation and it is real, its just hard to get a handle on what it takes for different people..
That evening wind is coming off the gulf and bringing more humidity, not less man. Gotta have a wind from the north for it to drop humidity but we won't see that until Monday night when the less-hot front blows in. Probably means Monday daytime will be hotter than forecast from the compressional heating ahead of the front.
Here at 9am it was 80 degrees with a dew point of 76. I ran to store and came straight home.
