Vladdy just destroyed that one. We're making a little bit of a comeback. 6-4 now.

I'm starting to buy into the cowherd "source" who said Lee hates it in Texas. He's been wildly inconsistent lately, and his horrible streak started as soon as Arias ed up his start at Tampa and Lee was pissed. He just doesn't look like a guy who likes pitching in Arlington at all.

I'd be willing to bet my next paycheck with the Bobcats that Lee will be on the first plane out once the season is over

Yeah Lee is destined for the Yankees next season. If they would have given him any ing run support whatsoever in his first few starts here, he might not have been completely defeated by pitching in Texas. But they didn't, so he is.

If you looked at the stats, even prior to the trade Lee fared worse in Arlington than any other ballpark in MLB.

He wasn't great last season around this time either. But he was lights out in October. That's what counts.

But he was also facing the Rangers, not facing other opponents.

Does anyone know what time batting practice starts for day games like Sunday? (2pm game) I'm going to that one, and if it's possible I'd like to go to a little batting practice, because with a day game, the attendance will be lower.

Good start so far. Double by Hamilton, and then a RBI single by Vlad. Hamilton barely scores on a head first slide. BURY THE A'S!!

edit: 2 run double for Murph!

    Nice win. 26 baby.

I can't find a pic that shows the number. But Johnny Oates wore the #26 we now have retired.

    RIP Johnny

Angels traded Fuentes away = Essentially throwing in the towel.

If we sweep the A's, that'll be the final nail in the coffin for the AL West, and then we can focus on beating out the Twins or maybe catching the Yanks/Rays

    you Harden. YOU

You pitch well just so you can get an extra start where you can us over. Go get run over by a big rig.

They scored zero runs. Didn't matter how ty harden was because the offense themselves as usual.

It's pretty hard for a person to have as ty a day on the field as Cantu had today. He was god awful, and not just at the plate.

We HAVE to take advantage of the next few days. We play the Royals while the A's play the Yankees on the road for four games. We should be able to gain a couple games on Oakland by the weekend. Key word: should.

Me too, but I might be more stoked that Moreland is in the lineup instead of Cantu.
