He's a once in a generation type talent. He put his body on the line for his team. I also have a feeling that everyone questioning his manhood over taking the easy way out played a role in his attempt to return. All the talk of are the Warriors better without him, do they need him, etc. This was the perfect scenario to show everyone that they did indeed need him. We know he's insecure.
